Wearing bi-focals for 25 years, tried progressives a few times, but they are just fuzzy arounf the edges, no peripheral vision, staying with the lined ones.
That said I have a couple pair of full glasses with my reading scrip to use mostly in the garage. Not much welding anymore, but they are great under the hotrod or under the dashboard.
You can get cheap ones online if the OTC readers don't work for you.
    Here's looking at you, Luke!

The Auzzie Albins trannys we use in off road racing:

The 6 speed sequential Albins designed specifically for the big 800hp Trophy Trucks. It incorporated an offset drive so you mount the engine mid-engine facing rearward and the offset puts the drive shaft further to the front of the vehicle allowing a longer drive shaft, which allows for longer travel in the rear. They run just about $30,000 a pop.

How do you make a million dollars in off road racing? Easy, start with two million!

Um I'm sure Luke would have liked to have stayed a bit longer.
But no point in teasing him.

I am sure he is chewing his fingers off not being able to post his usual cryptic enlightenment at the expense of some of us! :grim But at least he knows that we still miss him.....or at least me and Buck do.....

According to Einstein, energy can neither be created or destroyed, merely transformed. I have a feeling that Luke has been transformed in such a way, that he will be teasing us for a long time, or forever, whichever comes first. Watch out for the pseudonyms!

If in fact there is an "afterlife" whoever is running that show is probably busy dealing with Luke! Not that I'm in a rush to get there but I'm sure it will be a better place than it was before he got there!

Now wait just a minute, maybe Luke is just reincarnated.
After death, reincarnation into a new body is asserted to be instantaneous in early Jaina texts. Depending upon the accumulated karma, rebirth occurs into a higher or lower bodily form, either in heaven or hell or earthly realm. No bodily form is permanent: everyone dies and reincarnates further.

I hate it when they start out calling a philosophy a religion but onward and forward.
