950 ADV rear brake rotor torque setting?

    ugh.

    I know, I know. I have a service manual in front of me but I can’t for the life of me confirm the setting for the rear brake rotor. Looks like “collar bolt rear brake disc” is an M6 and loctite 243 + 14 Nm.

    Can someone verify 14Nm for me? I’m busy packing for a trip and likely my brain is functioning at 25% so please forgive the idiotic question....

    Interesting. My 950 manual says loctite and 10 Nm, while the 990 manual says loctite and 14 Nm.

    They have changed quite a few torques over the years.

    But 14 + loctite sounds about right.

    14 n/m is a lot. These are only 6mm thread. 10 n/m is about the max for a 6mm thread.
    Lots of blue loctite, 243.

    I think it's because 950 = solid rotor & 990 = floating rotor
