First tank of gas on my new to me 04 950. Running 60-70mph on a cool, sunny Alaska spring day.....47.8 mpg. Had the Gobi's on too.

My last fill up had me at almost 400 miles at the reserve light. (Love my Safari tanks)

Wow - my last fill had me at 430km from my Safaris. And that was running right to the bottom! (cost $72 to fill)

Used to get 330 km, switched wings exhausts for a single and now I get 260 km. Tried several different configurations with the jets and this is as good as I can get it.

2006 950Adv, with the S suspension (put on at about 11k miles).
I still get 220mpg all day long. . .often go 230 before fill, and there is some left (sure I can get 240). I've always KNOWN I can make it 200 before concern regardless of how I ride.
Been this way for 20k miles now.
Stock carbs (?, I bought it with 10k on the clock), intake, plugs, cans, 16T, Mefo Explorer rear, TKC80 front. Low fender, engine guards, Gobi pannier racks, usu have the Wolfman soft bags on it and always the large tank bag. Mechanically pretty near stock; a bit more weight over stock.
    So, pretty consistently 40 mpg.

I'm a fairly aggressive rider and I play the throttle more than I cruise. I take good care of my bike, and always keep the oil and sparkies fresh, clutch and engine ice too.
Did the fuel pump at about 18k just because, the water pump at about 29k just because (it was actually in great shape!) and replaced all the hoses and the t-stat at that time, just because. . . . Valves have always been in spec since about 9k miles - just checked them at 30,700.
Runs like a champ all day in nearly all conditions.
    Good gas mileage.
    Brilliant bike.
