What do we need to bring the rear boinger to 300mm.
Who got the solution. We ALL still need the complete 300mm racing package. I´m aware of the PowerCell option, but we need more options.
Powercell doesn’t have a 300mm offering - he’s got the Ohlins at 277mm

Has anyone done any shock re-valving?
A lot of info out there for Adventure bikes, but haven't found anything specific the stock SE shock.
If I can figure out a 300mm setup then the plan is a restack as well...

Now that I have the off kilter bars straightened out, thanks to Emig Racing Triples, and the fork rebound back, the bike is an unchained beast.
Time to start experimenting and see what valving improvements can be made. Performed admirably last weekend pre-riding our clubs Big Bike Enduro, but why leave well enough alone?
I think the valving setup in my Adv shock is spot-on for my riding but all that can change if I can manage finding a way to 300mm
Stock or did you or someone else re-valve it? Mine was changed, made the mistake of not taking it apart and recording the stack a couple weeks ago when I serviced it.
I stretched mine from 230 to 255, that needed 5,5mm more lenght to the shock, 265 would have needed 7,5. The latter is with the 6mm KTM part spacer under the stack. With a careless extrapolation, 275 can propably be made by making a thinner spacer. If I recall right the mounting area of the spacer was 3,5mm thick.
Maybe another 3-5mm could be found with a custom seal head. 290mm I could imagine with the stock shaft. Maybe.
I’ve done the calculations - max is 278mm with the current shock shaft. That’s the constraint...I’m going to look at leveraging an EXC PDS shaft but it joins differently at the swingarm.
Hmmm. Now that I think of this, a longer shaft might have some violent effects in the deeper end of the stroke.
This is being done by the likes of Konflict, etc...I just don’t know the magic voodoo involved in the mix of parts and work to get it there (not yet). @LocuL and I are working on something to see what we can do.
The shock tube is a changeable part too. Might they use a longer one?
Might be worth looking at SKF seal heads. By using one of these you were able to take the 690 shock out to 293mm.
I had my SE shock revalved and resprung, it was still useless
