    SORTED!!!!!!! :thumb :thumb :thumb

I had Factory overnight me their jetting kit for the 950. I've had Marc tune my bike in the past when I lived in SF and have always been impressed with his skill. I called up when I was in the middle of this issue and they said no problemo. We'll they didn't dissapoint. It was the best $99 I've spent since the other 101 $99 I used to buy the 950. It (without a doubt!!!) has more power all the way through the range than ever and it only pops as much on decel as when it was stock.

Thanks for all the input and help.

    Cheers,

I had Marc do my FZ 600 years ago when he was in San Anselmo, he also custom built a pipe for me, best running yami I ever had especially with that stage 3 kit. :nod

Are you talking about http://www.factorypro.com/ ?
Their website does not list any 950 kit. What are the advantages over the standard 'raise the needle 1 notch' supposed to be ?

    What's in the kit? Particularly:
    - Do they drill the slide holes?
    - Change slide spring rate?
    - What jets to they change?

I'm just really curious, since Sommer only recommends thier aibox mod, the needle position, and 4.2% CO on the idle circuit.

First of all Marc is a wizard. If you put a big black hat on him he's look the part and yes flanny it is factroypro.com The 950 isn't listed because it's a new kit just developed.

It included a plethora of main jet sizes. 170-185, neddles, #45 pilot jets and instructions. I followed the instructions for the bike they did at sea level even though I'm at 1,000 ft (260 meters??) and it seems to be running spot on! No drilling, no spring change just pilot, main jet and their needles.

The kit was $99. and I consider it money well spent. Took about an hour to do with body and tank removal. :thumb
