I've been running through my 990 just doing some routine maintenance, and after replacing the heat reflective foil inside the right fuel tank, I have a question. The tank has that heat shield to shield from the exhaust header, but I'm wondering about the fuel line that runs through that same channel. The fuel line I'm talking about is the one connecting from the right tank petcock to the left. It seems to be running awfully close to the header, and that worries me. Is heat shielding something I should think about on that fuel line, or is it fine the way it is?
