You have got to go see the NEW Rocky Top Road.
You won't recognize it.
Rick and I rode up it today.
They have completely redone it.
Very smoooth the whole length.
They also seem to be regrading and regraveling half the roads in Southern Cocke County.
And we finally got Rick's charging and overheating problems cured too.
Thanks Mike I'll check it out next time I'm over there. Do you like it better now,or the way it was? I did ride down Old Fifteenth and Sol Mtn Rd recently. And there's still Hall's Top,unless they re-graded/graveled it too.:eek1
I think it was much more FUN the old way if you weren't in a hurry.
It's so rocky up there, it never mattered whether it was wet or dry,
you always had good solid traction no matter what tires you had on.
But it's much FASTER now, and you could drive your Cadillac up there if you wanted to.
They even graveled over those little solid rock puddles at the top.
They were grading FRESH gravel on Sol as we rode it yesterday.
Hall's Top is still "Sloppy Top," and the connector between Rocky and Hall's still looks like a swamp at the Hall's Top end.
Nice yard. Looks like a great time!
Unfortunately that's after I go back to work.
WILL BE HELD ON MAY 18TH-22ND 2011.
THE LOCATION TBD (still in negotiations)
See you Thursday
Awesome! Already booked the time and got it approved by the new boss! Ain't going to be missing out again!
Who is this?
did you hear the story about the hair cut?
No, but tell me so I can let the rest of the Cat Herders know.
He'll have to tell you the story: couldn't do it justice!
Just some wacky cartoon character
