    Hey @richo360

One trick I use is to make a list of tasks. Then pick a task. A small task, and follow it to the end.
    E.g. change front tyre.
    When completed, pick another task.
Although it does sound like you're drowning in riches, the malady is the same and your're not alone

Down size, you have too many bikes for your situation. Im in the process of going from 12 to 2 at the moment, cant explain how happy I feel each time one goes out the door!

    Canvet, no wife happy life....
Daughters just roll their eyes and give me a 'whatever....'
Last girlfriend complained she'd been traded in on a bike. But it was a great bike, she had to acknowledge .... i mean, really.
Unc, thought about that. Can't currently bear to part with any of them. Even if i did, work would have to be done on each one first.
Poppy, agree 100%, with your first sentence anyway.
Anyway.... heading to Mansfield/ Mt Buller this arvo.... looks like im dodging the issue for another few days, so that's a positive.

I'm starting to get a bit of insight into your problem. :deal

All those years of punishment by ktm seats, some cold winter actvity making them hide away , and no opportunity since you swapped the left one for a 660 ? No wonder the internet seems more appealing than real bloke time.

The good news is testogel is back in stock.

Only way to stay motivated it to only have one bike. That way you HAVE to fix it.

I have two project sitting up on table lifts. One I have owned about 4 years, one I have owned about a year. But I have my daily and my dirt bike that only go down for basic maintenance.

Builds take time, but basic maintenance just means one night away from the TV.

I don't do it if I don't feel like it. Its not paid work, its enjoyment.
I've learnt that when I'm in the mood to do the job it takes half the time , comes out perfect and doesn't come back to bite me.l don't force it as that's when it will fuck up.
I assume you are able to get things done in life otherwise you wouldnt have all the toys so it's not systemic. Somethi g else is going on.
Forget it and do something else intil the urge is there.

Last year, I joined procrastinators anonymous.
We're yet to have our first meeting......

In all seriousness, Im just being a lazy bastard.
Yes, I'll make a list of stuff to do (in my head)
    Yes, I'll allocate some time.
Yep, just get off my ass and do it.
Im not that much of a TV watcher, I get bored and have to do something... so soon as the weather is clear and sunny and the days get longer, I'll be in the shed doing what I love (usually).

Just ride them until one stops.

A decent breakdown in the middle of bum-fuck nowhere usually re-invigorates the maintenance gene.

Couldn't agree more. I'm currently down sizing. I was much happier with 2 bikes that I could lavish all my attention on than 6 that all have something that needs fixing because I can't get motivated to work on them.

Whilst I have given due consideration to downsizing, in reality I cant.
    7 days in a week.
    6 bikes.
    1 girlfriend.

If I sold a bike, the numbers wouldn't add up, if if adjusted the wrong way, one is likely to throw a leg out of bed.
