I'd kill for a garage. I do oil changes on the paved section of my front yard. Valve checks, too. I've done brakes on the street. Having to haul my tools up and down two flights of stairs is a pain in the arse but I do it.
I used to get very blue in winter. Since I quit my full time desk job I'm able to leave before the sun sets. It's amazing how much that helps keep me going. I also ride year round and use my two bikes for work so they must be kept in good shape. namely, I'm compelled to keep them happy so I can make some money.
I feel your pain richo im currently on the 14th floor in a hotel in Bangkok and i can't be bothered going down stairs to get a risty
