Some more fun with the monkeys:

Nice spot, but camping is not allowed:

Well, found it, finally, for the night:

All covered and concrete area have been occupied :) :

I decided to put my tent nearby the old couple's tent. They were with very well equipped tent and outdoor stuff.

    My place:

Some monkeys dropped themselves from the trees, and almost grabbed my stuff while I was focusing in making my tent. They were very fast. Luckily nothing lost.

It became darker and darker.... Some thunder sound heard somewhere around... Sure it would be raining that night.
Lucky me again, a guy came to me when I have all thing set up, he told me that I can move in one of the gazebo as he has to move out that night, due to some personal issues.

Neighbors helped me to move stuff.
In the dark, my sponsored LED LENSER head torch light was really awesome!! It 's very bright, and can change the focus to spot or flood:

    My dinner:

Love Kao Yai ridden it many times, have my own CRF250L over there. Used to know a way to enter the park for green on a back road but it has been decommissioned and I almost ruined my clutch trying to get through it last time. Last time I went in paying local price by leaving my dark shade down and following a group of local riders. There are a lot of great roads all around the park if you circumnavigate it as well.

This is my second time in Khao Yai. First time I was guided by TonyBKK (ADV) and we have great day ride, and I always wanted to be back and do camping. This time I make my plan comes real, really real. :D.
I think the security guy stopped for a while after hearing my voice when I said thank (him in Thai), but then he may just let me go as local because I have paid and get the tickets LOL.

Okay, let see what I saw that night, just around my tent:

It was pretty cold that night. Actually I did not plan for that. Well, it's really hard to find a cold place around the SE Asia this time. That's why I did not bring my warm coat or the jacket linear. I had to put on my jeans, 4 single T-shirt, one T-shirt to cover my head, socks and gloves were all on. Still very cold. Hard to sleep, because of the cold and also the deer.
Rain from midnight, made it cold becomes colder.

    The early morning shot:

This made me miss the time riding on Smokey Mountain, it was also cold, and I was almost frozen myself when being at Blue Ridge campground.

    Nice and peaceful place...

The gazebo saved me through the raining night...

    More pix around the campground:

My neighbors were still in "bed" while I was walking around:

Nice tent of the old Thai couple:

    And coffee was making:

It's really nice when they invited me for coffee. We talked with each other by multi-language, mostly body language

    Hi there, thanks.
It's really peaceful place, except the case you are chased by elephant :D.
And it is not too far from Bangkok, the hub for you to fly there and rent a bike and ride your own. 200km from BKK is not a big deal.

Ah yeah, VFRD is one of my home site. Great site with lots of technical info and great friends I have there.
I still have my VFR 6th Gen and still ride it occasionally.
You have a VFR as well?

Alright, while I was walking around, the monkeys came and intended to steal my stuff. Lucky me that I was back to the tent on time :lol3. They were too fast, no picture.

Selfie time - the small dam make the noise all the night an day:

Pack-up my stuff - hell, see what I got:

This is the reason - I don't know what is the name of this thing in English, but it is sort of Annelida:

I they were in my tent last night, then I won't be able to wake up that early.

Brought them out for drying some wet stuff:

There was a funny thing that when I was picking my helmet, I saw bunch of bees flew out from the helmet, and one of my finger was bitten, pain like hell...
My helmet is truly hi-viz, so the bees thought it's a big flower, then they come inside.I was wondering why they did not die because of the helmet smell :evil :rofl

I will miss this place very much:

Think of flying cam with my bike one day:

All the thing packed when the sun was raised:

Almost lunch time, I decided to left Khao Yai park.

Off the park for a while, I saw a nice shop with Harley logo, yeah - it's place for me then:

Parked my bike. came inside and expected a good brunch.
Hell, it's totally different from what I thought, the people there looked at me like and alien, and replied "no food".
I was stopped for some seconds to think what the hekk is this place, with 3-4 service people and no food!

Okay. I will skip the places with HD logos :lol3

Kidding me? This place no food, again???

Done my good brunch, on the way to Bonanza race track:
