I have a spare day after that. Actually that day is cater for any uncertainties or unplanned stuff, or I could not reach KL after 5 days. I booked my flight back to Ho Chi Minh City on the 7th day of the trip, it's sort of safe preparation.
Gotta find somewhere to ride during spare day, as I am not fond of shopping or sitting around.

They are two high and I was too close:

I was looking on GPS map and and I realized there was a very twisty road which leading to Genting highland and it is off the main road.
Why not try - I turned into that and found it really nice.

I was thinking this road was one of the main road to Genting highland, but then they build the Karak highway instead because there was too many curves and dangerous turns. It's almost parallel with the Karak highway.

    Almost no traffic:

    aiya.

If you had let the KL bmw club people know you're in town , there will 30 bikes taking you round the best roads in central peninsular malaysia.

suggestion (for your gps , and ride back north)

KL - Simpang Pulai - Ringlet - Gua Musang - Jeli - Gerik - Tasik Banding - Baling - Kayu Hitam border to Thailand

can be done in a day , but fast pace

Took a fast round around Genting highland, I came down without taking any pix. The place up there is quite narrow, and it is quite difficult and dangerous to park the bike and taking pix.

Off the top for a while, I turned into the Awana resort for a rest:

Hmmm, my GS is not a superbike!!!??

Genting highland road ate all the chicken strips:

    My lunch that day:

Left the resort, I come down the other way, it's Karak highway. Nice, clear, and with a bit twisty highway. This road is great for sport bikes.

However, Karak highway is one of famous place in Malaysia. People call it's haunted place. Why? So many riders/drivers died on this road.

Many stories about an unknown passenger...

about strange beetle, without driver but slowly move on the road side...

and about a lonely kid, walking on the road...

Yeah, it's really scary road. Right after my trip for couple of weeks (19/102014), there was a massive accident happened on this road. 4 bikers died, 2 of them were burned right on the road.

Knowing about this road, I did not dare to speed up, and more, it rained again... Honestly I had to find a stop to wait for the rain out:

Got the bike cleaned before storing at my friend's place:

And of course got some drinks for me and my dear friend:

Here's where I left her for a while, I gotta back with my family and to work to get some more money for bringing her home :) :

Hi, and thanks. For many other riders, my trip is just some sort of normal riding. But to me, an amateur biker, that's truly and adventure. :1drink

As I mentioned in the first post (below), I have to divide this into two legs. Could not get away from family and work for more than a week. So there would be a LWD and the other called LWUp, if I can arrange for another week off work.
You are very kind to follow and commented. I am wondering whether I modify the thread title to become a round trip or start another one called mini-LWUp? :D

Thanks. You guys' comments help me to build up my confident level for another and other trips. :norton

Time for me to fly back. KL in a morning - hell, I still wana ride some more:

Unlike all other time, I chose all cheap services.
Use the train to go to Airport instead of Taxi. See the KTM Transfer? Not enough time for me to see WTH is that:

Now the time to get a ticket for KLIA Ekspress, fast train to the airport:

First time of mine to the KLIA2, the newly opened (May2014) low cost terminal.

Ticket for the train. Wifi free here also:

    Yeapy:

It's so large for a low cost terminal, 257,000m2.
