    Alright! Bout time!

I wonder if it's heavy? I wonder if it's made out of pot metal?

Even the big 3 are now going that way... The CBR250 is made in Thailand,,, or is it India?

BMW, China (at least they have Q.C)... etc,

All right. I am interested in seeing more about this bike. If it's a Zong Chen made bike, then just ask spudrider what he thinks of his zong with over 60,000 miles on it now.

And here I was, almost ready to pull the trigger on either a new Honda or Kawasaki 250 dualsport.... But this new Zong looks like it's very close to what I'd really like to have.

I know that Zongshen has the quality to compete with the two bikes I mentioned, but...

What's the price and warranty, when will they be available and can you ship them.

They will certainly ship them, as they ship their other models. But, the Zong is a water cooled engine. These guys aren't showing any good photos yet. This bike looks like a Zong as far as frame, body work, bags and top box. But it looks like it may be air cooled? Maybe the same 250cc engine they use in their other models??

Looks like there are some teething issues with the new FI system and six-speed tranny. Some people actually wound up just getting their bikes replaced instead of repaired.....:eek1

The price in China is around $3500 USD, so I don't know how it would compare cost wise to a KLX or CRF 250 here in the US. Even it it shows up at $3500 here, I'll buy Japanese. And since it looks as if the CRF250L will very soon become the CRF300L, my next ride will most likely be a Honda. But I might be swayed with a very compelling argument.

There is a bit more info at the California Scooter Company blog. The blog says, and shows a photo, of a water cooled engine. See the blog at:

They are having fun riding a couple of these. Time to get this bike on your website with specs, pricing, etc. guys.

Myself, being an old biker of 60 that started riding at 8, I'm not a big fan of the designs of some modern dual sport/adv bikes. I think the styling started with the BMW F650. It's the body work that kind of wants to mold the tank, tank snout covers, and the pointy looking upper front fender (for lack of a proper name) into one piece. But that's just me. I would rather have twin rear shocks too, and a kick starter etc.

    That doesn't mean I wouldn't buy one.

If this is a Zong RX3 motorcycle, here is a thread about a guy that has one:

Gatling, with all due respect, on a riding video, I much prefer to hear the motorcycle than music. I like music fine, and have played in 3 bands in my day, but hearing the engine, exhaust, etc, is the music I want to hear in a riding video. Am I alone in this? So, tell your boss that you just have to go on another ride and make another video for a grumpy old geezer at advrider.com that wants to hear the bike!!

So, you get paid for this?? Are they hiring??

Yes, I get paid for this. I'd do it for free, but don't let the Boss know that...

This new 250 dual sport was born for Baja, which is an adventure I am already planning.

Did the Cabo-and-back run on this thumper puppy a few years ago...

I may be one of the very few who ever did that ride on a 150. I'm pretty certain I'm the only one who ever did it with a broken femur, but that's another story for another time...

That's right. Isn't that a DRBig? I just don't get that look myself.
