Sportster wouldn't do that to you.

My next door neighbor has a sportster for sale. Hmm. After parking I found it barely hanging by one loose aluminum rivet. Gave a little tug and it popped right off. It doesn't do anything, I think I'll leave it on the floor.

A bit oddly shaped to make a useful ash tray.
But it might open a bottle of beer in a pinch.
    Cool. :photog

A Ural would do that but the part would weigh 2 lbs and be rusty.

Just leave the wheel in place & pull out the bad part of the tube if it is w/ tubed tires, & patch the leak.

    Or buy another scooter.

    kames,
How about some photos of the rest of the rig? I think the RE rigs look quite proper.
I might want to sell my Ural and try one of the RE rigs for a bit.
Also waiting for one of these smaller rigs to magically appear in the US.

Cool. I've always liked smaller bikes. I've seen a Ural in person just once, never ridden one so I don't know how it would compare. I think the Enfield is good value for what it is. I have less than $8000 in the whole rig, zero miles brand new. Super stable easy to ride, just don't get any ideas about interstate travel. Everyone loves pictures!
