I visited Japan for a month and was amazed by what I saw. I made this short docu-travel film about it. From traditional palaces and temples to egaming, splendour of a Kyoto geisha dance to the spare beauty of a Zen rock garden, there were endless surprises around every corner.

Nice vid. What time of the year did you go? I was there for 2 weeks just a month ago and loved it. Our flight was one of the last ones out before the most recent (and largest) typhoon hit. Saw a few groups of bikers. Wish I had one to rip around Hakone.

Hello Arek! Man, this film you made was so beautiful and inspiring to watch! I loved it both technically and artistically, honestly. To ride in Japan is one of my biggest dream rides and watching this makes me more eager to make it possible as soon as I can. Thanks for sharing!!

Wow Arek, I am so envious of your trip. We had a rental scheduled for 2018 but it was canceled after my mom-in-law fell and broke her pelvis three days before we were supposed to leave. We did manage to go Oct. '19 and arrived the day before the big typhoon. The next day as the eye of the storm passed over Yokohama we also experienced an earthquake. No motorcycle for us this time but I really love traveling in Japan.

I see a Japanese plate on the GS in the video. Was it your's or a rental?

I also have another suggestion like Deuce's. I worked as a projectionist in theaters for almost 50 years. I have seen 1000s of films and your's is very well done. If you are thinking about promoting the short, how about SIFF. I last worked for SIFF(Seattle International Film Festival). They show about 450 films and shorts in three weeks at their festival in May. Keep up the great work. Thanks.

Wow! Stunning video, not what i was expecting at all. Very moving/emotive in places, especially the Hiroshima section. That must have taken a lot of time and effort. Art!!!

Excellent film! Most of my cross country travel in Japan has been by Shinkansen, but I did get around on a scooter a couple of times. What a phenomenal place to adventure on 2 wheels.

I also very much appreciated your treatment of Hiroshima. No matter one's political beliefs, you cannot deny the human cost of the event. The memorials and museums surrounding Ground Zero capture and covey the loss and suffering caused by the bombing all too effectively. Your film provided a brief but very insightful glimpse into that scene. Thank you for sharing.
