A few weeks ago @danruss and I spent the weekend camping and riding in Bald Eagle State Forest PA and I put together a short video of the footage that I thought I'd share here. This place was very cool, I've never ridden a trail system like this one before. Coming from VT where we ride mostly class four roads we found the tighter trails and single track to be a real blast! There was lots of fun flowing trails with some really tight and rocky technical stuff, some of which proved quite challenging. If you're in the Northeast you should consider paying this place a visit. There's a good two days worth of riding here. Shout out to the PA Trailriders for maintaining these trails! http://www.patrailriders.org/ http://www.dcnr.pa.gov/StateForests/FindAForest/BaldEagle I hope you enjoy the video and photos, I look forward to coming back here again in the future. Thanks! I think we did a little of both? We camped right off Poe Valley Rd at a primitive site and ventured out in both directions from there. I added a rever ride link for our first day if you want to see in more detail.
Sure, I will check it out. I will be working in that area Saturday so I'm riding the 7 Mountains system on Friday. I have done this the last 3 years and I always have a good time.
I like the rever ride. That is a first for me. You were only on the 7 Mountains system and Shade Mountain system is on the other side of RT 522. You were right by the spot I am going to off Rt 322 on Decker Rd. So I will be riding much of the same trails you logged. Thanks for sharing.
