And I'm sorry I missed that!
Next time we'll sing together!!!
It looks so peaceful...
And then there was ACTION
People were arriving
The greeting committee
Geeze Putts, I don't even know you.
I was hanigin' with these cool chicks...
Just chilling with Mr. Drunkard
When this other guy shows up
Anyone recognize that finger? (Gawd KNOWS where it has been.)
Some were not amused
But T_T carried right on in his 'style'
Sorry buddy, not even photochop can feex deeze.
More to follow, I've got lots more.
Ahh yes, T_T demonstrating his surefire wimmens-magnet moves
Agahst, Marty watched from the pits
While just outside the tent the conversation took on a different tack all together..."Seriously, dude. The bigger your feet are..."
I got to meet in person a lot of friends I have met here on ADV...
Klay, Pilot, #18 and some guy I do not know yet.
KnightWolf and his lovely Mrs.Wolf, Sgt. Marty's beloved Lorie, Mr Suspension himself, Sasquatch, and Pilot.
I came across DireWolf and Mr. Merrick out in the field deep in conversation..."Are you sure that is enough beer?"
Then, as I moved across the camping area towards the infamous "PNW" side it was like I was being drawn further and further into a time space vortex thingie, something weird was pulling me far back into my sordid past.
Bosco was the most gracious of hosts, and I left his van with a competely different mindset.
Later after dinner, the de-n00bing began. I only got pictures of some of it because, well, I was out there with the n00bs.
Sgt. Marty was in charge, and Oooh, what a strict sergeant he can be, too!
After allowing some of us to get off easy by embarrassing ourselves by displaying our riding skills the rest of the cowards got theirs...or lost thiers more accurately.
#18 loses it.
ADV's newest couple lost it
Putts lost it a Looooong time ago I am told
Austin got a nice Birthday present to drink with the rest of us.
This guy lost it several times
There, that wasn't so bad, was it all you ex-n00bs?
Soon, as the full moon rose, it was time for the PUAC Family Log Rolling Competition
Family only at first
Then Bonnie jumped in as Austin gets the shot in his finst n00b-wear.
And there's Klay, checking everyones form as always.
(You will note that Ben NEVER got off the log during all this or spilled his beer...mad skillz! )
And so, as the full moon rose over Darby, FUN WAS HAD!
Hope to see you all again soon!
Tim (Skinstains) and NICKY sent me an email when they got home on August 5th. Tim mentioned a picture they shot which will eventually be posted on AdvRider; something about assless chaps.
Tim and Nicky are a pair of Aces. Nicky rides her own bike but has never taken a ride approaching the length of this trip. For me, the trip to Darby was worth it just to meet those two.

What roads are those in the videos?
Where I passed you, in the middle of all the traffic.
It was an unexpected pleasure to hang out with you and your Family, Roy.
Great pics and comments, 'nut!
I was wondering if any of the bikes I saw coming towards me were members who had attended West fest. Funny thing is a guy I work with also saw us on that road as he and a buddy stopped to take pics. He also owns a Strom and his buddy was on the new Kawi Voyager. It was great meeting you and looking at the pics BTW my little lady does like her nick The_Filly
It was great meeting and getting to hang with you guys also, I laughed so hard that night. It was one of the more memorable evenings I have had in a while, it will be hard to top.
[qutoe] I missed the viola playing so if someone uploaded that, it would be great. I heard it and headed that way, but it was over by the time I got there.
I have some video of viola-tor playing. Not from west fest, Thursday night when he put it together. However he asked me not to put it on the web. So I respect that and if you like to hear it I could figure something out.
Thank you, it was a hoot taking them.
A quality time-
My compadre's thrift store acquired camping chair-
And it's eventual fate-
Good riding on the Idaho side-
Wish I could've made it. Great pics too. This picture is interesting... Whole lotta nuttin'.. But makes me want to ride it anyway
That's funny.....I do not remember seeing Pengy there...
.......nor do I have any recollection of burning chairs.
Must be a photochop!
Great stories and pics, peeps!
Here's my road report.
