Stay healthy Paul, you have too many fans.
That is probably for the best, even if it doesn't feel like it right now. Stay healthy. Ride on...when you believe it is safe to do so.
Damn, brother. Sorry to hear this news, but I agree the prudent thing to do is take care of yourself first, all else can/will come later. You're doing the right thing here.
I can only imagine how frustrated you must be. I’m all bent out of shape and all I want to do is drop back into Mexico this fall.
But like the others, agree that it’s likely for the best right now. You know we’ll all be here when you get back on the trail.
Thanks for the words of support fellas, in my mind I prefer to be part of the solution, not the problem; riding is a luxury, it can wait, health and social responsibility before personal enjoyment in my eyes, is more paramount.
Thanks for the taste of adventure again, but thanks also for being a sensible adult about the current situation. I’ll still be here, hopefully, when you can get back out there safely.
Catching up on the last couple updates @rtwpaul; the photos and story line with the imagery is fantastic. Bummed to hear the ride is going on hiatus for the time being, but given how pear-shaped the world is right now, it makes complete sense. That screen grab of your GPS with way points and tracks...it's like a where's Waldo piece on crack
Offer still stands for anything if you make your way up to the PNW, whenever.
And big thanks for the video and link on painting the night; I have wanted to take night shots like that for some time and never took the time to look into it or learn; going to do so now.
Keep the knobby side down man, and stay safe while this virus continues to f*ck things up everywhere.
Very respectful decision Paul. As others have said thank you for the bit of adventure. When things are right again I will be gladly following. Stay healthy.
Paul...I will miss your spectacular photography and will look forward to the continuation of your trip. Staying safe and caring for each other should be everyone's priority during these unprecedented times.
I think not...
How selfish of you to take this away from us...
haha!! In all seriousness stay safe, looking forward to when you head out again.
i applaud your decision to take a break. first, admiration. now, respect.
Hey Paul, the missus says you should use your British citizenship to get to Canada and come hunker down here for awhile.
Corona have made planning anything more then a week or two ahead impossible.
Looking forward to see you back on the road eventually @rtwpaul
@SpizzleD all here https://rtwpaul.com/
I'll take a rain check on that, but thanks. I'm going to use the downtime to try and be a little productive, I have a shipping container full of random motorcycle parts I was saving for a rainy day, time to go back to my old ways and build a motorcycle to fund future travel
At least that should be a bit of fun. I finally got the motor back in my 525 yesterday so I can get back to the build we talked about over a year ago.
