That's very interesting idea... Did you get BB spines separately or they were left overs from some other project/application?? I'd like to keep OE look but wouldn't mind reinforcements underneath...

I bought the Barkbuster Storm kit, but found that I liked the look/weather protection of OE with the TT extenders.

Very good - I will look into it, thx... I have OE with Maier extensions (I think?) and do like that combo quite a bit - adding spines to that combo will be just a gravy on top of smashed potahtos… :photog

Ty @JimVonBaden - I did see those pics the other day... :thumb

@dogsslober has used the spines of BB but kept OE hand guards with TT extensions which is what I'd like to do too... I'm guessing nothing that couple of holes along side the spine for bolts to tighten the guards properly won't fix...:D

@Lead Wrist I completely forgot to take pics! I apologize! You are correct in that I only had to drill one hole. The hole that is nearest the center of the bike matches up, then you just need to decide where to drill out on the outer wherever you feel is good.

No apologies needed - you get to it when you get to it... :D

I still haven't purchased the BBs yet so no worries!! :thumb
