Things are good today mate. The wind is blowing from the south, it is cool and keeping the smoke away. When it blows from the north or north-east it gets shithouse pretty quickly with the smoke eh. Warmer and dryer winds just spark it of again too.

I got a new river water pump so that's fixed, at least that's one job done. The first replacement wasn't performing and wasn't consistent, so I got a gruntier one (same watts as the dead one :gdog) and that fixed it straight away.

WifeSilla is away interstate at the moment so I'm housebound with the 2 dogs. Come Wednesday I'm free again. :ricky

    is davorallyfan around these day?...

i've just fallen off this site and very little riding been going on...the daily commute to work has consumed the GS... i better do a ride this long weekend... can't wait.

and since Mick Owen has pissed off ... again ... the GS is sitting at Jamie's in QBN - he's doing some work on the drive-shaft. Let's see what the works like... so hard to find a good mechanic here... he seems to be a good operator, helpful, good advise, and the proof will be in the pudding.

Made redundant yesterday. I have 12 to 18 months to pack my desk and be out haha, company is treating us with respect and dignity as well as a decent package so pretty happy about it really. Get these bikes fixed and running sunning while I'm still working so I can do some riding after I'm finished up. Giggidy.

    Cheers

Golly. That's a very reasonable timeframe there Fati, plenty of time to look around for the next job eh. Most redundancies these days you find out first from the radio or newspapers. Peko-Wallsend closed a smelting operation and copper mines in the NT where I was working for them, and the first we knew about it was the morning news on the radio - c*nts. In their favour the package was generous, but they were still c*nts.
