CMC have pods you can try on. I have them and like the comfort. I had Asterix before and they were uncomfortable after a few hours. I could probably add that twice they took the weight of an AT without any crush injuries in low side spills.
Can anyone enlighten me on what the story is about Wadbilliga/Bourke's Rd atm? Was at either end recently and noticed the National park signs about closure/ fines etc. Locals I bumped into at the Tuross turnoff said NP is pretty anal about keeping people out using cameras and such Any insights what the go is?
Thanks for the recommendation and lead, Oz, I'll head over and give the Pods a test for fit and comfort.
Can anyone confirm if the 'short' way between Captains Flat and Hoskinstown (as per attached) is open and doable for a solo rider of average abilities and tyres? Thinking of incorporating it in a little loop tomorrow morning, if anyone's keen.
I do both those roads on my Royal Enfield 350, (road tyres) just take it easy and you will by ok, BTW mobile sig is a bit patchy.
My brother in law drove his car though there about 3weeks ago and has no mail/ fines ect and I know 5 people who have been up on bikes. They are just getting around to putting up road name signs but still have not cleared any drains or done road works.
I have just heard from the forest dozer driver that Razorback is well worth a look at the moment even though it ls signed (closed) some of my friend have been up there two weeks ago on a twins.
ya never know when or where About 2.10pm (Sunday 27 December 2020) Barton Highway, Jeir, near Murrumbateman 36-year-old female driver was subjected to a roadside breath test, which returned a positive result taken to Yass Police Station, where she allegedly returned a breath analysis reading of 0.416. utter crazy shit
And that was after she had apparently inadvertently parked in the table drain to make it easier for them to find her
Well into the death zone. Years ago an AFP friend told me about a middle-aged spirits drinker who they only tested because he was a bit "lippy". He blew the highest recorded to that time at 0.38, yet otherwise seemed unaffected.
I lost most of winter and spring through a crazy stretch of work - no time for anything else - have been trying to make it up since then ... Finding the Garmin InReach really changes the dynamic re' riding alone 'safely' ...
Had a nice ride today through the kozi loop ,some new riders with us who haven't been on broken kart or port phillip / tantangra trail. very busy with 4wd ,camping groups , etc . Came across a tenere 700 with a Czechoslovakia rider ,very impressive machine sounds and looks very good.
