Lots o fun was had. I could only get there from Fri night through Sun morning, but the new tent held up to the rain very well, and the riding was great.

Special thanks to Kyle, Casey, and Aaron (and others whose names I have forgotten) for letting us tag along on the Sunday morning ride to the KY reclaimed mine. A great group on fun terrain -- just the right amount of challenge, and lots of encouragement and support.

Well... it WAS a mirror... the mud reached out and grabbed it. It may or may not have taken the whole bike down with it...

I (almost) feel guilty posting this clip. Jack (Wood1) on a 650 Verses with a nearly bald Scorpion mt60 front tire made a valiant effort keeping it vertical for about 20 miles of the Hatfield/McCoy Buffalo Mountain trails. This was one of the two times that gravity won.

The mud did provide for a soft landing. Thanks again to Don for the use of his tools and shop to make adjustments to my mirror Next time I come back it will be with the KLR.

A bit late as I was hoping to post pics but the few I took I still haven't downloaded yet. Been playing catchup since home. Had a great time, saw some familiar faces of friends that have escaped the North and went south. Saw even more FF from other events I've met and some met here. All great people. This was my second time to the H&M trail system and while the other trail head I stayed at had more bars etc,, This one had the best people. The Locals are the best! To Don and Kathy, a big thank you!! We will be back. I stayed down the road with Jeff Hatfield and he was a very gracious host. Very helpful when Johns Husky wore a hole in the float bowl(yes a rubber hose rubbed through the aluminum bowl?!). Got john back on the trail. Be nice to do another event in this town. Just give me an excuse to put in for time off at work... please!
