If you have that much stuff just drive a four wheel vehicle with the bike in the back for when you want to ride. That is a lot of stuff on that bike and trailer.

I'll give the 1290 the benefit of doubt.

Maybe he is not on an adventure!

Maybe he is moving and his only vehicle is the 1290.

No. Pannier racks are a dead giveaway that you’re a chair packer.

Haha. They hold bags n stuff. Typically I just have a Wolfman on the tail rack but banging around town running errands it's nice to have the racks/bags

Disadvantages of that obscene front tire:

    Weight
    Turning ability

These are the most important aspects of a front dirt bike tire. Do I want to try yours out (on the 500)? Maybe. Id hate to admit that Im tirecurious in public; might bring out the wing nuts...

A proper replacement for the 950SE worthy of a ride would be the Yamaha T7...its legit. A bit heavy, but easy to drop 20lbs off of it. Simple. No fancy shit. A big ass dirt bike. Still too big for me. The 500 does it all, and rips.

One of these days well run into each other; we frequent the same country and both live in ADV-F heavens. As usual, classic report.
