But your shadow looks kind of half-excited by the swim idea.
Biggus Dickus in its natural habitat.
Finally, something I carry that's more minimalist than what Joe is packing!! Take THAT!!
^^ Thats FN funny, almost lost my coffee, thanks for that!!
Just hangin' out by the lake?
Its a socially-distanced 'in' from me, too
I was heading for home excited to get some loose plans together for the next ride. I came across this. Gasoline still draining out of the engine, pooling in the roof. The nearby tracks clearly portrayed what happened. They were doing a donut and caught an edge and rolled. I wasn’t just sure of the significance of this scene but I know there was some. Throwing a match into it really would’ve added to the scene.
So my buddy Wally (inventor of the Voile strap, now widely copied by many companies) wanted to join me for part of the longer ride. Presiding High Council member Elder Drey Dog was also in on his recently purchased Superenduro 950. The morning before we left, Wally told me about a nightmare he had the previous night where Drey Dog and I brought him into some really deep sand and he was flailing and stuck. He says to me “I don’t know if I should come with you guys on this one”. I assured him we wouldn’t get him into any deep sand like his nightmare. Plus, what’s the worry? Those 790’s are so “flickable”! I think you can guess how this played out.
We struggled to get out of town. We were working over Drey Dog’s new steed repairing cracked vacuum hoses, a damaged intake boot, re-jetting, 2 into 1 pipe, etc. He had already got the suspension back from Superplush and installed an 18” front wheel. On our way out of town, my Anti-gravity battery crapped out (less than a year old, not impressed) and we found a few more issues on both Drey’s 950 and my 950.
Finally, we had the bikes running perfect and we were on our way. This is what we do.
Sorry I have neglected this ride report. The report is that the riding is good! Currently on the trail, I’ll update this soon when I have nothing better to do. Classic Joe Moto ride.
Do what ya gotta do Mister....we are here for ya....just enjoy your take on things....someday would like to have a beer and shot with ya!!
Oh yeah, I keep forgetting @liv2day, try a little cooking oil for storage, but, if it rusts, you are not using it enough!

Rock stack is dangerously close to a chair... not sure how the roost God will look on this. On a related note, finally got to use my fork
C'mon Joe wouldn't a Helinox chair be better than carrying those rocks around with you?
Solid work concealing the chair from the photo, if you were actually carrying one. Good fork placement for fire roasting.
I can set that chair up before any of you a-holes can even figure out where your Helinox is packed. Croffee as we speak this morning. Yeah, there’s a story to why I’m drinking from a can.
If your buddy still had the Karoos that come on the 790, they are prett
Is that rust, dirt, ants or croffee grinds in there? All 3 being part of a healthy diet outdoors...
He has a wife, you know.
Nice color on that coffee. Somewhere between 5 year old motor oil and tar : )
I like the Helinox chair. Less than 2lbs and fits in a woman's purse going together in seconds. Being partially disabled I just wonder if I could get out of one. I use a walker for more than 2 blocks although riding is just fine thankfully.
Folks like us roll out of it.
