    ADV@LBL.RIDE 7.0 Turkey Bay Edition!
The date is set and this time we're making it easier on the dirt bike crew. Availability at our usual camping area at Energy Lake Campground is extremely limited, so we're going to "rough it" with primitive camping at the Turkey Bay OHV Area and Campground.

If you've joined us before, this is the same laid-back group you know and love (of course you do). If you've never joined an ADV@LBL weekend, come join us, get to know a great group and make new friends. All levels of riding ability and all bikes are welcome. Bring your big ADV bikes, bring your dirt bikes, bring your street bikes, LBL has every kind of road or trail you want to ride from curvy pavement to mild gravel and messy off-road.

In the words of @TroyJ650 : If you are an off-pavement rookie, THIS PLACE IS AWESOME! If you are a seasoned rider, THIS PLACE IS AWESOME! There is such a wide variety of terrain, and it can be as challenging or as relaxing as you want it. You can bring everything from your vintage dual-sport, hard core offroader for Turkey Bay, your brand new Adventure bike, or even your full dresser all pavement touring bike, there will be a group to ride with or route suggestions from plenty of local experts.

Even though we're changing base camp this year, this is still NOT a "pay to play" event. It's BYOE (Bring Your Own Everything), and the only costs are your fees to LBL for camping and whatever food you decide to bring (we do crowd-source some meals). Check out this website to make reservations and for more information: www.landbetweenthelakes.us .

If you're looking for more comfort, electricity, etc, there are still many cabins available at Energy Lake Campground, and also at Kenlake resort across the lake, and Barkley Lodge East of LBL. Staying at base camp is optional!
I am told that trailering to the primitive camping at Turkey Bay will not be an issue.

    *ADDED INFO:

PLAN B - Fenton campground - On Kentucky Lake @ the Hwy 68-80 bridge. It is just a few miles from Turkey Bay, plenty of room.

If by chance Turkey Bay is closed, we'll be at Fenton.

It was tough to find a date that didn't conflict with other events in the month of May. We know that there is at least one other local rally that weekend, but we didn't want to encroach on mother's day weekend.

If you have ANY questions, post them up!

I challenge you to BW 80 race of an inappropriate size loop of main trail.

I'll probably get ohv passes for both of them so people can race lol. Or mud bog.

EDIT: Don't think you need to stay at BaseCamp to ride with us - There are cabins @ Energy Lake, KenLake resort across the lake, Barkley Lodge east of LBL, and 170,000 acres of back country camping at your disposal. Stay where you're comfortable, visit us when you can. -Troy

80cc 2 stroke on atv tires. 3 speed auto clutch. It's a kids bike but Hansel and Gretel are built for adults. Still wheeling and dealing to get the second one done. Speaking of does anyone have a reliable source for nitro methane?
