You weren't kidding! I tried my best, but couldn't get the small one to go on without any wrinkles. Still, it looks good and you can't see them from 5' away. I'd prefer other people not be close enough to see them, so that's ok.

I think it's my sticker that's straight and the Shoei ones that are crooked. :huh

The decal maker told me the 3M sheeting is not suitable for curved surfaces, so thanks for confirming it and saving other inmates from trying the same thing.. It looks good from a few feet away though. :thumb

The reflectivity outweighs the slightly bad look from the wrinkles. It's cheaper than a halo, too.

My purpose in life really does seem to be to let other people learn from my mistakes. :deal

A heat gun might have helped, but I don't know what impact that would have on the helmet.

Try a hair dryer. Less heat than a heat gun and it should make the sticker pliable enough to stretch/shrink the wrinkles out.

Another inmate will have to figure it out, I guess. The closest I can manage is the stove or an iron. No heat gun or hair dryer here.

GB - Nice fookin' work on the decals!!!! :thumb

Damn these are nice. I have these abnormally clean halos on my truck, Tiger Alum box's, and KTM fairing where these beautiful decals have been applied. Missus Wolf doesn't want an ADV one, but she is fired up about getting her FYYFF one (a favorite phrase) on her Subaru.

PS - I got extras for gifts (?) - if you get several, check with GB before sending money for extra shipping - them bitches are heavy.

    Sah-wheet!

I'd like the compass rose version, too. My last one is running around TO on my old bike.

I actually went to the main postal sorting station and dropped them all off there, rather than the corner mailbox.
