I have a need for a carburetor balancing tool. I am in Portland, Oregon and can offer riding gear zipper replacement, repair, and I am developing motorcycle, bicycle, and courier bags/backpacks. Trades or cash for use of a carburetor balancer. Thanks Joel
I have an extremely low tech one that is so cheap it isn't worth shipping. It was given to me by another inmate. It's just some clear tubing connected with T connectors with some sort of lightweight tinted oil in it, all fastened to a yardstick with zip-ties so that you can see the fluid levels easily. You just adjust the carbs until the levels are equal. I'll try to get you a picture but can't promise when that will be.
I believe this has been asked before, but in case there's a new answer , has the tool pool got a GS-911 diagnostic tool?
Buffalo NY Suburb to the south, Fully equipped garage w/2 post car lift, MC Lift, tools. If passing through and need help, inmates welcome.
I made this to disassemble my R 80 G/S drive shaft. It has already been loaned a few time but I thought I would list it here. I can ship just about anywhere.
Add me to the list. If you are passing through Rancho Santa Margarita, Ca, you're welcome to use what I've got. Nothing fancy, but everything you need to get an ailing bike back on the road. Hand tools, compressor, lift, Clymer manual for KLR650 (pre 08), as well as a Cyclepedia account for the same bike.
Looking to repair the spark plug threads on my KLR. I am looking for someone who might lend out their Time-sert installation tool kit. M12 X 1.25 (Time-Sert 4212) is the tool kit I need. Cheers, Paul
I'd like to borrow the pool's tool referenced above, but have no idea how to proceed. What do I do next?

I've got a clutch alignment tool that I used for my K75 clutch job that I'd like to donate to the tool pool. I hope to dog I won't need it any time soon, and I'll probably just break it or loose it before I need it again. I turned it at work from scrap aluminum, so I'm not really into the part for any money, I'd just like to put it out there for someone who could use it. I believe that it fits 1883-1997 K75/100/1100 5 speed bikes and all 1994-2001 R850 & 1100 bikes except the R1100S. No promises about those other bikes, but I know for sure it worked in my K75. I also have a 12v 15mA LED test light set up with clips that I built to test my hall sensors (hall sensor test kit?). I would be happy to loan it out locally. Denver/Boulder area, or anywhere you want to drive in from I suppose.
I am looking for the necessary tools to do a front bearing replacement on the F650GS. If they are available I will make the necessary payments and contributions. Cheers, Andrew
Anybody near Dublin, CA (94568) willing to loan, rent or trade a carb Synchronizer for use on K75? Thanks, Keith
