Thanks Mark. Had a good day. Ran 60, 666, 555, 676 at full blast this morning solo to Marietta. Had a buddy meet me down there and rand the tot from Marietta to woodsfield. From there hopped on 800, 26, 148, 800 , 342, 258 and 36/83 home. Had dinner with my woman and a couple buddies at the brewery here in town. It was a good day. Planning on doing a quick trip to the dragon with a buddy next weekend so that’ll be the T7s maiden voyage to that area.

I might look into that, been staying at the Cherohala Mountain Trails campground in Tellico lately. 2 bed cabin is the same cost as putting up 2 tents...l am starting to get lazy :lol3

I still have the V-strom so those times aren't necessarily over although the Tenere is quite a bit better on the rough stuff. I was concerned about the seat at first but I am actually starting to like it. Hoping the stock tires make it down there and back, they're getting pretty slim but figure I can squeak another 1500 miles or so out of them.

Damn, woulda been funny if we had crossed paths. I need to stop down for a visit sometime here in the near future. Got a pretty busy month ahead. Gonna do the dragon area this coming weekend. Camping in Allegheny with the woman next weekend. The following weekend I plan on taking off for the NEBDR and come home the weekend after that. I feel overwhelmed and haven’t even begun preparing for any of it to speak of. Been on inventory duty that past few weeks so I’ve worked about 14-16 hours through the week. The little bit of free time I’ve had is spent trying to ride the new bike a little. I’ve had that Tacoma for 2 months and it doesn’t even have 400 miles yet... had the bike for almost a month and it’s a little bit over that.

You guys missed some killer routes for MSTA Fly-By Week in Marietta over the weekend. First two pics are from the WV intermediate loops, and the other two are from the WV expert loop. They of course don't show any of the fun stuff from that loop, although a few days before we rode a 165 mile dual sport ride that covered some of the same route along with some gnarly stuff too. At that time, no one had a saw or anything for that tree, so we had to go to the left of it and do some Graham Jarvis crap to get around it. For the record, I am not at that level of riding! Pretty sure between Wednesday and Saturday, I put almost 650+miles on the bike. Definitely would recommend coming to the event next year! 20200828_111506.jpg 20200828_121706.jpg 20200829_102959.jpg 20200829_134525.jpg

Will try to get over and ride the two loops this month or next. We canceled due to the weather forecast. Will try again next year if we are not wearing one piece chemical protection suits by then.
Wife and I did make it down on Sunday to the river by way of curvy back roads to Ironton, Chesapeake, Proctorville and Gallipolis.

Any of the temporary asphalt wash-out repairs on the back roads 260, 536 surprise anyone. A few weeks ago my 1200 Bandit riding friend on O.R. caught one section leaned over while hauling ass with me and the only thing attaching him to the bike for a few seconds was his two hands, Great save was had and a great ass hauling day was completed.:clap

No, I had seen you said there were some in a post last week, they have a lot of work to do on the long one on 536.

I don't suppose you saved a gpx file or have the routes in some other format? I have some vacation days to burn, but can't go far from work.

Yes, I still do have the files saved. Actually had them before the event as my buddy made a bunch of the routes.
