Great story. Loved every bit of it!
Great thread! I enjoyed all the banter and now i'm really looking forward to longer days and warmer weather!!!
Long time lurker on this, but this quote is one for the sig line, for sure. LMFAO
Love these reports, and the style is second to none...
Sure could use another JM ARF thread given the crazy state of the world right now and being sequestered at home.
Hell yeah, social distancing in the desert!
I was practicing what they preach this weekend.
We need more fundamental Utah minimalists. The ultimate in self-quarantine. These are the safest people on earth.
Crazy times. This spring will be an interesting roost season. The Presiding High Council will be taking things to the next level to avoid more people than they already do. Recreation bans are currently in effect for Carbon, Grand and Emery counties. When riding is outlawed, only outlaws will ride. Unfortunately, extra caution will need to be used to avoid law enforcement and any unanticipated hospital visit. Gonna have to back off the hillclimbs and jumps for a bit. Entering stealth mode.
Any other counties currently available and rideable? That is, not covered in white stuff? Just so happens there is time for foolishness, but for the next few weeks it will happen way down south. The Adjustaforks have been broken out and are going to get some use in a few days!
Recreation bans? Are you serious? Welcome to the ACS, American Communist States.
Yep, Utah politicians are famous for their left wing views.
It's all about keeping people from coming to Utah. Hell, I'm not from Utah, want to move there, and STILL understand that sentiment!
Brilliant April Fool's Day post
Quit trying to bait me. Not going there. WTF.....
You have some serious Holy Sacrament around the fire, I'm sure there is a lot "Bearing your Testimony" going on too! I was wondering when the ADV-F "Relief Society" was going to show up!
Swear to god, I blew a hairpin on Engineer Pass when there was a grader suddenly coming up the down side. Had to gun Blue Suzi hard left into the side of the mountain, luckily only dirty but all OK. If only this was available then! An easy right swerve off the earth, touch the remote to deploy the tent as we sailed off the cliff and Bob’s your uncle.
Ain’t technology great.
One thing that I've done through the years, I perform routine maintenance with my on-board tool kit. That way I know that I can at least do the basics out in the middle of nowhere. If I find I don't have the right tool, I grab it out of my toolbox and put in the tool roll.
Hey joe.. great ride report. Just ordered one of your forks. Looking forward to putting it to use in 2058 when I finally get to camp again. Keep it up!
