Here's video of Hwy 103 to Oark. TAT footage will be next, at least of the Warloop Rd section that you hear so much about on ride journals.

From one Arkansan to another, I have to say that you are giving away all our secrets. Good stuff. And your sister's bicycle trip to Guatemala was bad ass. Thanks for sharing.

I loved living here when I was using 4 wheels, 2 wheels just adds to the fun! We have some of the best roads and trails in the entire country :)

Picked up some more awesome accessories for the bike. Seelite makes the best (IMO) lights on the market. A pair of these will definitely light up the trail! Waterproof connectors and the toughest housings I've ever seen. The mounting brackets are really versatile, making installation a breeze. Can't go wrong!

As promised. I've read on many ride journals that this is the most technical section of the TAT east of the Rockies. The leaves covering everything make it both harder to tell, and harder to ride :) All those rocks hidden were fun. Once again, sorry for the boring pace, riding solo in the middle of nowhere tends to slow me down ;)

60F in December?? Yes please :) Spent a good portion of the afternoon out on the Trans America Trail again. I took a longer detour to get more dirt time. Definitely going back for more soon! The area between Hector and Jasper is a gold mine.

This forced me to take another little detour. Luckily I knew exactly where I was. There are some great swimming holes around here along the river.

This is the road surface we were talking about earlier. Super grippy but it really does eat tires at high speed. This is a tame example. One of the challenges of riding around here, especially when it's cold and a little damp is that repairs are done with more modern smooth blacktop. The changing surface in corners is pretty hair raising sometimes :)

This was my introduction to Warloop Rd, last year: I rode S to N

Ya, my snails pace was to try and avoid exactly that :) Still fun tho! I'm sure I'll be back.

Headed out with a fellow twin rider on my day off yesterday. His pace didn't allow for many pictures, but SO worth it. Discovered a ton of new places to go, and pushed the bike quite a bit more. Such a great ride.

I’ve been exploring the Ozarks for years and still find new things all the time. It’s a great place for dual sport bikes of all sizes.

Another weakness of the tires is loose rocks on top of mud at low speeds :) There was actually smoke coming off the rocks when I got unstuck.
