Just checking to see if anyone from Taiwan is on ADV.
I'm here in Taiwan.
Are you foreign or domestic? Where are you living on the island? When I'm there, I spend most of my time in Taipei and the surrounding area. Can't wait for my next Chinese New Year visit.
I'm in the west middle of Taiwan. Born in here and live in here.
That will be very welcome for you to Taiwan!
Do you live near Taichung? Are you a member of the RUN2W forum? I rode a SYM Fighter 150 all over the north end of the island back in 2008. The entire time I was dreaming about being on a dualsport. I love the roads near Wulai and Pingsi.
My SYM Fighter 150
I live in YUN-LIN, more south than Taichung. I know the forum you mention about but I'm not a member yet.
The pic looks awesome. So you know Taipei well, that's great!
I understand what you mean about dualsport, it's really suitable for Taiwan.
Hualien must be a short ride for you from your location. I've spent much time there on vacation with the family. Beautiful area!
I met some nice people on RUN2W. Guido, Ralf, Xiao Long are the three I was able to ride with. They ride all over the island if you're looking for new people to bike with.
I got to know the north end of Taiwan pretty well when I rode my scooter. I put so many miles on it that the tires split in two.
O~my~the pic was so cute but the tire was so~terrible!!
Guido still has his gs800? Xiao Long has a 950 Enduro. Ralf is the tall guy?
Guido's still on the 800, Xiao Long on the SE 950, and Ralf now rides a new Kawasaki 650.
Ralf on his DRZ supermoto.
That seems I make a mistake about Ralf. I thought Ralf is over 6 feet tall.
When the Chinese New Year you come here.
Hope that all of us can find a place to sit and drink.
This is me and my horse on the way to Mount A-Le.

I love Ali Shan! I went there when I was 8 or 9 years old. It was so beautiful. The best part was getting up early to watch the sun rise from the moutain tops and clouds. Hope to go there again some day.
I'm sure we'll be taking the high speed rail down your direction in february, after the celebration slows down. I've been wanting to visit Penghu Island for years. Would be nice to meet up for some coffee or pi jiu.
Your chinese is very well and know Taiwan well, too.
The bikes are so awesome. I love the scenery and snow white. But I know that's hard for ride!!
The sun rise still beautiful in Ali Shan.
Penghu is a beautiful island, the weather in there in winter may windy all the day.
Wish you have a nice trip in there.
If there are anything I can do, just tell me and I would be my best.
I'm in Hsinchu.....someone here?
