Funny you should mention that - here are his comments:

Please spend the additional programming time. If you are running out of time, do what the Russians did in WWII
    1) If 24 hours are not enough in a day, also add the night
    2) If you do not get enough sleep, sleep faster, comrade
    3) If there are not enough days in the week, try the 10-day week.
Every 10 days one day off.

I'll miss you guys too - but I have to keep the client happy. He's the one signing the check that keeps the bank from taking my GS away from me... :cry

I'm leaving my house at 6am, it's near 101 and Cesar Chavez. Anyone who wants to ride down together can email me for the address.

Sorry to hear that man. You could do what I am doing and just do the Santa Cruz mountains portion. I can't take the whole day off, but I figure what better way to start a day than with some twisties.

Glad to have you join the madness. I live very close to you by the sound of things. No big deal riding to Alice's, but I'll be leaving about 6am too. Could meet at the Bay Shore Chevron at 6:05 or just see ya at the ride. I'll check the thread later.

Yup, that was us. We saw you pass by and stopped at the ride's first turn off of 35. We waited there 3 or 4 minutes and debated going back to Alice's, but since no one was sure whether you were an ADVrider or just a friendly Beemer rider, we moved on. Jason waited at the turn an additional couple of minutes, then hauled after us.

The riders who made the ride were R-dubb (grand organizer and trip poobah), Jean-Luc (V-Strom storm trooper), GeeItsCool (shiny new GSer), and me on the RT. None of the all-talk-no-ride moderators showed. Losers. :cry

I'm at work, so time is limited. Short version; this ride was Awesome. I'll post more this evening in Ride Reports. I'm sure the other guys will post as well. We have only a few pics as our time was spent RIDING and riding and riding and...

Well I gotta work, but a quick report.

I really enjoyed the ride. The route was really ambitious. 500 miles in one day is a lot, but 500 miles, 90% twisties, is a real endurance endeavor.

Ricardo, sorry we missed you. I was hoping you would do a U turn when you saw us, but alas it was not to be. Hope to catch you soon.

I played the important role of bringing up the rear, since I don't have as much riding experience as the others. Once the sun started going down and 500 miles was in the bag, I peeled off in Petaluma and headed home. Did you guys to the Marin County parts in the dark?

I was pretty sore this morning, but at least I was able to get out of bed.

For me, 538 miles, 15 hours.

    More later.
