If it's possible don't send the magazine instead take my magazine payment and make a donation to support ADV.

    Magazine finally arrived.

I have to say I am extremely impressed. The quality of the magazine is excellent in every way and it exceeds the last issues of Motorcyclist and Cycle World which really surprised me.

So, in the internet age, when print magazines are dying, ADVRider, an online forum decides to print a magazine and send it in the mail.... it is something that is strangely odd and wonderful and would only work if it were well executed.

    Well done ADVRider.

Hmm, I would rather they use that money to reduce the amount of ads. Magazine are problematic for me in terms of paper use, transport, use of chemicals, etc.

    Mine Also,

Still a believer in print. My mags that exist still keep coming, although some now only half as often. Where I have the choice, which I always will, it's always paper, just like the daily Wall Street Journal.

It looks really well done. And anything that you can feel the texture, see the color and words in analog, smell the paper and recognize the effort that went into it, can read and revisit, while not scaring at a screen like a zombie all day at work or your typical CRV and RAV4 drivers.......is better.

Hopefully there is enough interest, contributors, and $ to make it regular. I'll be in.

Not sure of what the problem was with delivery. Previously received a message asking if mine was received. No. I did receive it yesterday. I read about half of it. It was interesting. My first history lesson on the beginnings of ADVrider.

Sorry I did not see this post earlier, I would have offered reassurance sooner - it's legit and an awesome publication!!! I was fortunate enough to get one from the first round of distribution last year (December or so?)!

I feel the same way as those who still appreciates the ability to hold the mag in your hands and have pics that are not temporarily displayed on the screen!!! I too am an old-school believer/subscriber in print edition mags!!!! For me there is definitely something tactile about getting comfortable with a good mag and a cold brewski!

On the flip-side, kudos to those who are able to get the same value out of a digital version. I can't seem to get into it the same, and would miss the ability to just grab the mag when I have a free minute to find a new article. No animus, perhaps just a little jealousy?

Baldy and Co, I hope there are future editions! Thanks!

I finally got my copy. Worth the wait! This is an amazing magazine. Kudos to everyone involved.
I would be in for a subscription if it ever becomes a thing (and the 5 month delivery timeline can get ironed out).
