ADVRider Mosko Moto Meet Up at Moto Guild SF Nov 18, 2019
Where: Moto Guild, 849 13th Street, Treasure Island
When: 2-8:00, Baldy will speak around 6:30.

Have you ever wanted to meet @Baldy, the founder of ADV? Have you not yet stopped in to Moto Guild :shog since Caroline and Craig bought it? Do you want to see the full line up of Mosko Moto gear? Now is your chance.

Mosko Moto will be showcasing their gear from 2-8PM at Moto Guild. They have been extremely generous with raffle donations for various ADVRider rallies and if you have won swag from them now is your chance to offer a personal "Thank you". They've been on some epic moto adventures this year, including a tour of Ethiopia and a recent visit to Brisbane, Australia. (I follow them on Instagram and they have some rad posts there documenting their adventures @MoskoMoto). This is our chance to ask them ALL about these awesome adventures.

Later in the evening Baldy will be sharing the story of ADVRider's genesis as well as stories of his own adventures. I had the chance to meet him for the first time just this past weekend at the Pahrump Rally. What a neat guy. He'll be taking center stage around 6:30 so be sure to be there for that.

Please take advantage of this cool opportunity. If you have never been to Moto Guild it's a motorcycling institution! It's part DIY garage, part hangout spot. It's made my life as a motorcyclist so much easier (and they've saved my butt more than once) so if you haven't been you should check it out. I will see you there.

Sounds great, and it's just an easy lane-split away :ricky

Any sense of whether refreshments will be served, or available? :dukegirl

yes, I think confirming a couple things as far as what's allowed but Mosko said they will provide beers if we get final approval for that.

They have non alcoholic refreshments available for purchase at Moto Guild: coffee, tea, soda, snacks. Beer is another question.

    I'm in!

Btw, do Mosko Moto have presence in the area? Or they are coming from Oregon?

They're coming down from Oregon, we're all headed to IMS Long Beach for the show there and thought we should get together in the Bay Area on our way down :)

I may be going to IMS as well!

Are you guys riding there or by car? If by bike, I'd love to join in on the ride!

@Sfcootz - I just bought a set of their 35L Backcountry for the Great Pumpkin a moment ago!

Second - and I hope this is OK - https://ridebdr.com/become-a-supporter/ Backcountry Discovery Routes (Sponsored by KTM and lives apparently at Touratech :lol3) has a program that had LOADS of sponsorship swag. Loads....

I sent them 250$ for a silver membership and they sent me, in addition to a 10% of Mosko code, a 500$ off parts/powerparts when buying a new KTM (and I just bought one - and used the card), a hat, socks, and a slew of other discounts from supporters - I'll probably use 1,000 of free money for a 250 donation. They rock.

Edit - Rats...I can’t go - training that week. Have a good time.

I may go to the IMS in Long Beach, but won't be going to SF prior. Grandpa duties. :-)

This lines up well with my schedule. I may be able to stop by, but can't commit yet. Ran into the Mosko Moto crew at Fields Station in June(?). Seems like some great folks.

I'll be in the southland next week too, but not for IMS. We're headed for Bite the Weenie.

Haven't seen you since Cal24 in 2015. I'm hoping you can make this. If you are leaving Santa Rosa I will be heading down from there. I'm going to SuperCamp at the fairgrounds. :wings

I've seen you! (from the cab of my work truck as you went speeding by :D) I'd love to ride in with you, but I'll be in the City all day.

Added to my calendar, so that means there's a least a chance I'll make it.

Sounds like a great "Back in the Saddle" ride to me. Been off the bike for 9 weeks with a leg injury, going to try everything I can to get there.
