    This is sensational. I never thought the idea would get this much attention.

    OK, what about a PIG puppet?? Something like http://www.judaicaforkids.com/product_reviews.php?products_id=642

    I can imagine the pig sticking its head in from the side of photo's, staring at girls as they walk past:eek1 , drinking beer :beer , dancing :rayof .... heheee

    When you didnt want to use it as a puppet you could simply put a can of beer in him so he can stand on his own??

    If people think this will work, I'll buy one. :D If people prefer a normal toy, speak up..

    Cheers.

    Didnt even notice that the website for the pig puppet is Jewish. Please be assured that I am interested in the puppet and do not condone or promote any religous beliefs...besides drinking beer which is a religion all to its own... :evil

    Why not name it "Journey"?

    I like the Puppet idea too - easier to pose for the pics. I can imagine the possibilities, seeing pictures of Journey the Pig Puppet throwing back brewskis in 7 continents :lol3

    If only we could find a 6-inch pig like this

    :rofl

    Shogs, the safest bet would be to take orders. Although it would depend on how much the 250 costs, I guess.... Have you done this in the past, do you have experience and a recommendation?

    This one is on eBay. It says 12.5 inches, but it looks like most of that is "body" that would fold up/pack. I can see that draped over a mirror for photo ops. It even oinks... It just needs an ADV patch.

    I think maybe for the religious reason alone, we should withhold from getting this pig. that is simply my opinion, keep church and state out of our affair!

    Komito,

    I sort of agree. Don't really want to go anywhere near any religious areas. Unless anyone comes up with a better pig than the puppet Krusty has shown above in the next 8 hours, I'll buy it tonight off ebay :clap

    I'm hooked on the puppet idea. if people do short clips of video, the ideas are endless....heheee

    Now, anyone know of anyone who can make an embroidery ADVrider sew on badge?? I can get it sewn on, but I cant get a badge made..

    As for stickers, I'll be in for 5 of them, just let me know how much and somehow I'll get you the cash....

    Now to order the waterproof book.....:evil

    GF,

    Just go to a Surveyor/ Engineer Supply shop. I think they'll have water resistant field books that would do the trick.

    I think the pig's name should be PUI

    [which, of course, stands for Pig Underway Internationally]...

    When I were a little boy, There were a Rhyme or song or something that used to go;
    This little Piggy went to market
    This little Piggy stayed at home
    This little Piggy had roast beef
    This little Piggy had none
    And this little Piggy went wee wee wee all the way home;

    Well this little Piggy went around the world on an Adventure instead of staying home.

    Now I think he/she should just be called "lil Piggy" cos where ever it went
    i.e. This lil Piggy went to Asia, Europe, Canada, North America, South America and all the stops in between etc..
    This little Piggy went to.. Red Square, or The Eiffel Tower, or The Empire State Building.

    Just thought it might help as sometimes names dont translate well

    Ps I'd prefer a sew on embroidered patch not a iron on transfer one (just to let you know)
