Folks have been asking me about the sizing of the Roadcrafter pants. The size 50 are a 44 waist. I only have a 38 waist but I needed the extra room in the thighs. They are a little big in the waist but not absurd. Not like a Darien 44 waist that would fall me. I hope that makes sense. I have tried a pair off Roadcrafter 46, which are a 40 waist and although they fit better in the waist, the thigh is too tight. Therefore I believe it has also to do with your build. With an athletic build you may require a larger waist size.

Would you take $200 for the Tan Darien Lights? I may be able to pick up around Thanksgiving-riding to Florida that week... Call or text Jeff at 434-760-0246

If I'm reading the Aerostich chart right, the inseam on these is around 33.5"...does that sound accurate?

I wish I would know the build date on the Roadcrafter pants. I sometimes buy stuff second hand, sometimes new. I actually have a brand new 50S black on black in my closet too. All I know is that they are the newer kind. In 2009 Aerostich added belt loops to their Roadcrafter pants. My 50S are newer than 2009. If I had to guess, I would say 2012 or 2013, or if you were interested in the brand new black on black pair what would you offer me for those?

The inseam of the 50S is measured at 32" although the book calls it 33.5
The inseam of the 46S is measured at 31" although the book calls it 32.

All I can tell you is that I am 5'10" with a 32" inseam and they both fit me well. I have had longer pants in the past (Darien 40L) that were too long with a book value of 34"

The Darien that I have listed are a size 38L and they have a measured inseam of 33" although the book calls it 33.5". Maybe I am not measuring them correctly, but they all fit me well. I hope that helps some...
