I don't have any gps data at this point. The plan is to download the route from Darrel upon arrival. If Darrel can email us the route data that might work but that's in his court.

Has anyone figured out  what the electrical adapter configuration is. Some are saying a type "M".

    http://electricaloutlet.org/type-m

    Anybody know for sure?? :ear

Yup, That's the one Bob. You can get them a the airport in Toronto if you don't find one before then at a store. Remember, it only converts the plug...not the voltage, so its fine for phones and laptops, but not hairdryers and some othe electrics that are not set up for both 110 & 220v

    Thanks Mike.

Yeah it seems that everything I wanna plug in can accept 120-240 volts so a simple adapter will work for my purposes.

Okay yuze guys listen up and listen good coz I am only gonna say dis onze.

Voltage is 220 throughout this trip.
South Africa and parts of Namibia have a triangle plug with three round prongs two small ones= pos and negative and one large ground this is a 15 amp plug. The rest of Namibia, Botswana and Zambia also have a triangle plug with three square prongs two small=pos and negative and large one is ground this is a 13 amp plug. If anyone has a blackberry that setup came with all the adapters you will need. You can also purchase them at Walmart, Pharmaplus, Costco and any other fine store that stocks the slapchop and chia pets.

P.S. This time next week you will be in Cape Town.:freaky

Bread looked like this fresh out of a drum, but I ate it because a lot of people were watching and I did not want to be rude.

Alright you gang of Merry Merauders.

Go give the Dark Continent hell! I have been envious ever since the hubub at the Greek restaurant. It's hard to speculate how many of the rest of us will make such a trek so send your best when you can and updates of safe arrivals when things get rough.

Show us the Beer and the Bushmeat cause it's all good with the right side dish.

    Safe travels, yff's:1drink :clap
