Has anyone actually seen a windscreen support crack at the welds from mounting a GPS to it?
I've already ordered the Camel ADV part after reading of the apparent issue so it won't be a best of three coin toss over the $170 getting shelled out.
    Just interested

@Sand Goanna did it about 3 years ago now, with me in my WR450
We believe he was the first unsupported AT to cross the Simpson. Daryl Beatie did it a month or two earlier, but he had a unimog following him.
From memory, Jared used a bit over 50 l of fuel & was carrying about 20 l of water
We went Mt Dare to Birdsville via Rig Road, for a bit over 700km

They should make the vids more realistic. Middle aged guys with beer bellies all doing the meerkat on perfectly groomed dirt roads. :D

The weight has dropped to 226kg on the UK Honda website. The first gen was about 233.

I've gotta say, this new model is looking pretty damn good.

Power to weight improvements, motor redesigned, frame redesigned, okay good.

Car play, seven traction modes, cruise control . . . some folks are impressed.

    snip AT jump.JPG

Is this on the stock suspension? Cuz all they say about that is, the internals of the Showa shocks have been 'revised' in order to 'apparently give the bike better handling.' See minute 7:00.

    Hmm.

    well this sucks....

    according to https://motorcycles.honda.com.au/Adventure_Touring/2020_Africa_Twin

For Australia, there will be one Africa Twin option available in Manual with ABS. With two colour choices: Grand Prix Red and Matte Ballistic Black

Not that I'd be in the market I guess, but if anything, I'd have wanted the new ATAS. And to date, there is still no ATAS available in WA. Marketing marketing marketing.... Not that hard a concept Honda
