Squily you might have got that wrong there are 3 ATAS options here in AU https://motorcycles.honda.com.au/Adventure_Touring/2020_Africa_Twin_Adventure_Sports the language they use is misleading.
I think they are trying to say no DCT for the standard model in AU you would need to get an ATAS if you want DCT

They have taken some suspension travel away from the ATS compared to 18/19, now they all have same seat height and travel

They’ll chew even more into GS’s now I’d say, looking good, although havent seen any pricing or when for aus yet

    thanks

i reckon there was an update to the website, because the ATAS was not listed when I checked. But its good that it will be available.

very nice machine, but I'm not making the same mistake again with Honda by buying something I have not seen in person

These are very good updates and if they price this thing well, it'll sell like hotcakes.

I'd be interested to know what they've done with the forks for the base model. The coatings don't look very dark.

Will keep my eyes peeled for big bargains on the ATAS then. Will need to get some mates to check out what's happening in Bunbury and Perth then on their showrooms. Hey, the NoName rally is on in a few weeks and that's not far from Bunbury.... :hmmmmm.

    Edit:
Just tried the Honda website again to check costs on a current ATAS, and any WA postcode I try just return an 'invalid postcode' so according to the website, there are no ATAS available in WA. Frustrating.

    Hi Africa Twin Owners,

I was riding out to the TKMR Tibooburra and found (roughly between Bourke and Hungerford on 12/9/2019) a Honda Cover L FR Fender 61102-MJP (four press clips and one fixing hole) complete with Stanley RR188 amber reflector. Is one in your midst missing such a fender cover? Happy to forward it to a responder.

Hey guys, can someone please confirm for me if they changed the forks or rather the fork coating with the updates in the 2018 model?
