be VERY CAREFULL as this weekend I watched a bike go to the seat in this very HOLE - he was NOT a happy camper - at all ! -- but you can stay up on the side
until the quads destroy that also! - the other hole with the culvert is not bad at all.
Now we were not on 500 pound dual purpose bikes - only 260 pound dirt bikes

Wow look we have done the same hole :rofl:rofl. Yup I almost drowned my 690 in that hole and it has a high intake. So the beavers didn't dam up the culvert? Glad I could come with you...no wait I didn't.

culvert is not flowing much as the water is the same level on both sides
at least you can see the culvert so it is easier to pop over it
ran into a couple of guys in a side-by-side that bought property in there
and they want to fix the road to get trucks into their lot.
Maybe there is hope yet ?

I do not mind a bit of water, we'll a bit more now because of the low intake. I was there when the water was well over the culvert, didn't try it that day lol. Well bring the road in but not as much fun :evil

I'd love to get together for a ride. I haven't had the time to get out this year the way I'd like.

Hey guys, I am curious about a trail I saw the end of (whether it's passable on a ginormous dual sport).
From google maps, it looks like it goes South from Aspdin road right near where Yearly road meets it, and comes out at South Lancelot road. I was in my car when I saw the South end of it, so couldn't check for myself.
If it's passable, I want to include it in a route for this weekend, but I really don't want to have to risk a heart attach trying to get myself out of the woods if it's gnarly.
    Any help?

    Ferd

Yes I got a new 2012 ktm 500 and it is sweet.
Sorry love the 690 and prob would have kept it for another year but this one was a steal, 137km on it and for $5500. So there was no way that I was going to pass it up. Now the 690 is on the chopping block come spring. :cry
But I have to say night and day companies to the two though, wow so light.

That's a crazy deal on a 500 especially since it might as well be new. I'll get have to get back to you about the 5th, I'll see what I can do!

it is passable - yes ---- but there is a crap/ rotten bridge that is sketchy and
the south part of the trail is washed out and fairly rutted but passable.
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
now would I take a bunch of followers on Ginormous dual sports ?????
probably not the best idea. - but some people may love it .
at least there are no giant deep water holes back there.
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
hope that is clear as mud ! :evil
