I have no idea what these are going for now days but I ended up with 2 sets so selling this one. I will ask $80, but open to offers or advice on market value. These are 2 hand guards for a 100s or 90s fairing. Located in Charlotte NC, shipping is extra.

The paint appears cracked and needs stripped, but the substrate shows no cracks and appears in great shape.

    R50/2 BMW parts

I was cleaning out the garage this weekend and came across some parts from my old bmw rebuild about 18 years ago. The bike has long been sold.

I've got two spare heads for a bmw R50/2. Both are for the right side. The are in varying levels of condition.

One is the 'newer' LK head (built after 1968). In the photos, that head does not have the springs or valves. At some point, work was done to fill in some pits that were in the casting. This 'newer' head has thinner and deeper fins than the 'older' head. The exhaust threads on this head are in very good shape. All of the fins are intact and in good shape. $200

The second head has the valves and springs. This is the 'older' head (built before 1968). The exhaust threads on this one are a little beat up. Clearly, this head was never rebuilt. All of the fins are intact and in good shape. $200

Located in Salem, Oregon - this Pacifico luggage system came on my 93 R100GS when I bought it earlier this year. I have been going back and forth deciding if I want to fix them up, but today as the racks were being removed to be repainted, one of the rusted out mounts snapped. I'm done with them. They're great for touring, but not that great for off-road travel.

If anyone knows anything more about these, feel free to chime in. They're huge, but not too wide - 18" x 13" x 8" tall. Not big enough for a helmet, but they hold a lot. They seem to be a combination of fiberglass and plastic. They're a universal system with the mounts intended to be welded to fit whereever on the subframe you want. At some point they seem to have been well made, but the weaker plastic areas have not aged well. They've got many scratches, cracks in the bottom corners that have been drilled out, some kind of weather-proof tape over some of these cracks, cracks in the plastic surrounding one of the hinges etc. And of course, one of the welded mounts is snapped.

I do not have keys and I do not have the crossbar for the racks. They're not a great candidate for shipping, but I'm willing to ship if you want to pay for it. I will deliver them at a reasonable distance - Oregon, Washington, Northern California etc...

A hundred and fifty dollar box of /7 electrical fun, what you see: the one rotor in box is new, the other two, questionable, tho have continuity, the diode boards both seem to test good numbers, I did ground one of them. The regs not so sure. my testing skills are on par with my ham fisted amateur electrical skills, so as is.
Hence the fun. $150 shipped. Flat rate USPS.

Tall Mirror from an R100GS. Some spots of surface rust, but perfectly functional. It may work on a variety of bikes.

Looks to be equivalent to part #51162302175

    WTB for a 95 R100RT;

    - Left side mirror
    - Brow light lens (the skinny one over the headlight! Not sure of the proper name.)
    - Looking for a better seat as my OEM one is worn out. I'm wondering if any Mono RT seat will fit as I like the cleaner lines of the ones without deep seat pockets. Shipping for a seat would be a pain but I haven't found much locally.

USPS Shipping to Canada as they offer the best rates by far with the least amount of hassle on both ends.

    Thanks

Fellas....APB for Early Krauser Saddle Bags

Lost a saddle bag yesterday. UGH. Had this set for 20+ years and kept them thru a number of different bikes. Short story I ALWAYS safety strap them on but they were unloaded on the way for a grocery run and I planned on strapping after I loaded them with supplies. FFFFFFFFF!

Specifically looking for the early Krauser bags w/o the BMW roundel on the side and seat belt latch. I've not given up hope to find it but....if someone has a set or comes across a pair, I am all ears and dollars. Still have the RIGHT one, for what it's worth. The hunt begins:

WTB: left main side fairing panel for an R100RS. This can be in serviceable or repairable condition and any color. I've managed to piece together the rest of the panels from eBay, but this one is eluding me.

Since the main panels with the hand guards seem like they'd get damaged even in a "fall off the side stand" prang I'm surprised that I haven't seen anyone like AirTech offering aftermarket replacements.

A pointer to a specialist shop in the USA that might have a used panel would be good if no one has one they want to unload.

    cheers,
    Michael
