Selling new, mint condition large aluminum Micatech V2 Panniers. They are in Salt Lake City, Utah.
I am asking $700, plus whatever it costs to ship them to you (or, you can pick them up here).
They were intended to go on my BMW R100GS, but I am sticking with the stock panniers.
The Micatech panniers will require brackets, which I have easily found on Amazon. These panniers are mint condition, still in their plastic bags and original boxes, absolutely unblemished as you can see in the pictures.

Micatech, the now-defunct company, had and I suppose still has a cult following.
Here's an announcement and product description from Twisted Throttle who apparently was an exclusive distributor of these:
Twisted Throttle has joined forces with Micatech to create the new “V2” side-loading aluminum pannier system. Micatech cases are hand welded in Hillsborough, NH for the ultimate in heavy duty, weatherproof, lockable adventure luggage. Micatech’s V2 sidecases are the only side-loading aluminum panniers on the market, featuring a recessed well that prevents items from falling out when you open the sidecase. Micatech’s unique design also allows you to strap a duffel bag on top of the pannier and still easily access the pannier’s interior. Accessory liner bags and pre-cut retroreflective kits also available.

Micatech V2 panniers can be easily installed on most late model BMW, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, Suzuki, Triumph, and Yamaha sport and adventure-touring bikes using SW-MOTECH QUICK-LOCK removable sidecase carriers.

Ahh man! These are the golden unicorn of Panniers! A friend had a pair on his R12GS I fell in love them. I looked high and low for a pair when I got my '92 GS this year. I ended up with Happy Trails which are nice but these would have been sweet. GLWS

are the sizes offset for the high exhaust on the GS? do you use generic brackets?

WTB: Crossover pipe for my 1975 R90/6. It's a short piece of pipe that connects the left and right exhaust pipes.
The part number is 18 11 1230638. I am guessing that it is probably the same part for all /5 and /6's.
Show me what you have and what it would cost to get it to Philadlephia, PA 19129

I believe that the exhaust is why the left side case (8"/37Liter) is narrower than the right side case (10"/45Liter). That's the only reason that makes sense. Here is an R1200GS with the Micatech V2s mounted: https://advrider.com/f/threads/the-official-micatech-luggage-thread.583751/page-2#post-13237595
In that thread there are pictures of several other makes/models with these cases mounted.
Here is another thread with some pictures of the cases mounted: https://advrider.com/f/threads/lets-see-your-micatech-panniers.549268/

I do not know details of mounting these cases. From the Micatech thread, I can see that the company recommended SW-Motech racks and worked with TwistedThrottle as the distributor.
Additionally, please note that these Micatech V2 cases for sale do not have brackets. They are slick, as seen in the pictures. That could be bad or good for the buyer. It is good in that it allows for customization. It is bad in that it does not offer a plug and play solution.
