you’ll need a price and location if you want to avoid the ad being deleted.

    83,000 or there about.
If it doesn't sell in a few days I will return some OEm parts (shock, footpegs, etc) and drop it to 4,900.

Hello Everyone. I am selling a 1952 R51/3 project. It is a real project. I have the frame, engine (torn down), and lots of miscellaneous parts. Big items that are missing are the transmission, final drive (I have a Russian FD if you want it, it will work), wheels and forks. All of those parts can be found on Ebay, sometimes on the US version and definitely the German eBay. I use the German eBay to get all my hard to find vintage parts.

This bike is a triple number matching bike. This bike is worth restoring. I already have a R51/3. I don't need another and I don't want to part out this bike.

    Asking $4500 for everything.
Bike is located in Tucson, AZ

Let me know if you have any questions.
    Thanks
    Matteo

A good friend of mine once put down a deposit on a brand new motorcycle which would not be available at the dealers for a few weeks. As the day of delivery approached he was sweating more and more about how to tell his wife. In the middle of a heated discussion about another matter he dropped it into the conversation. To his shock, his wife replied, "That's good, it will save you spending so much time in the shed." Their argument ended there. I'm pretty sure that his main bike at the time was an elderly FJ1200 which Mark had ridden nearly 200k miles and to be fair, needed regular care to keep it going.

early in our marriage (/5 was my only transportation when I met her) we were in a money bind (again) she said something about selling that old bike.

I answered "I've had It longer than I've had u & it's never bitched when I got on it"

    only argument I've won

Good luck. I've been on the hunt for a while. Unless I feel like paying $100+ bucks for one.
