According to FB and the current importer, there is a new importer for Australia - AJPMOTOS Australia….

Does this mean that the PR7 is back on in Aus?

    21 model looks sensational ...

I guess so, although I understand all production through to the end of the year is spoken for so wont see any here until next year. Still don’t have the answer on ABS so maybe it’ll be a 22 model

What's the best FB group for staying up to date with developments around Aus importation of these bikes?

Going by the FB page (thanks) and new website, looks as though things have turned a corner for AP in Aus ...

The current / next incarnation of the PR7 will hopefully come out here

Also noticed that the strange PR3s and PR4s seem to have gone from the line up (in Aus) - but we've got the new SPR310R and 510 ... which are another incarnation of those old Huskies - ie in parallel with the SWM RS300 and RS500 - but with different frame, suspension, etc ...

Be interesting to know the pricepoint for those, and how they stack up as a package against the SWM

    Look good ...

In a small industrial compound outside of Lousada, a stone’s throw from Portugal’s winding Rota do Romântico, AJP Motorcycles is working hard to write itself into its next chapter. Perhaps it was the call of that Romanesque route, which wends through the sloping hills into the Sousa Valley and beyond to the great Trans-Portugal Trail, that inspired AJP’s recent turn from racing to touring. Until recently, its entire 33-year history has been focused on racing bikes, machines good enough to have garnered victories in both the Portuguese National Enduro Championships and the Portuguese National Off-Road Championships.

I find Greg Villalobos hard to watch. Takes forever to get his point across. And often his point is not that interesting.

I can't see them competing with SWM. The SWM 500....KYB suspension, Mikuni EFI, Brembo brakes, RR $ 9,290......that's a bargain.

For me it's all about the PR7. If the new mob can get it's shit together with dealerships, backup and service I'm back in the market.
