    False alarm.
There's a small bit if plastic on the inside iof the airbox which had come unstuck possibly blocking the air filter.
    Should be ok now.

Inside the airbox cover is a plastic plate.
It's stuck on with glue and had come lose.

Started the bike without the cover and idle now spot on.

I rang my dealer and he said the only idle adjustment is via the cable.

Have been looking at getting a PR7 but they are pretty thin on the ground here in the UK at the moment. Was worried with new Euro5 emissions coming into effect in Jan2021 what would happen to the PR7 so contacted AJP and was pleased to hear new Euro 5 version going into production soon, so fyi:

"the new AJP PR7 will be in dealerships this year 2020. In the next few days we will start assembling them and sending them to our customers in more than 30 countries.

Motorcycles will receive improvements, as AJP is a factory that maintains direct contact with customers and knows what they want.

    See the main points:

New GET injection plant, manufactured in Italy by Athena.
    • New Samsung tablet, now with 8-inch screen and higher speed
    • New double cartridge front suspension closed.
    • New decorations
    • Euro 5 homologation
    • several other small adjustments.

Its amazing how little most dealers know about the bike they sell. He is dead wrong. The idle adjust screw, as Ebrew said, is on the throttle body, which you have to access underneath the air box.

Figures. I bought a new 2020 in March and it has the Delphi injector, which is not as good as the Athena.

I had a friend who owned several. He said it was horrible. Always fixing things, dealing with tenants, etc. Don't do it! Ride....

So if I take that lot apart and turn the screw I guess I have to put everything back before starting it again ?
    Thanks

    Be careful.
I am a landlord with 2 rental properties.
    I chucked both tenants out.
One property took 3 weeks work
The other I'm working on has been well and truly trashed.
    F...ing a holes.
    Keeps me busy though

No, just stuff a rag in the Fuel tank hole and be sure you don't get anything into the throttle body. I ran mine with the airbox off and adjusted the screw while it was running.

If you have not done so yet, look up the AJP PR7 Australia Facebook group and join it. They are a wealth of information on the PR7. There are quite a few Brits and Americans on it as well.

Enjoy the bike! I love mine. Its a bit more work to ride than some others, but the reward is worth it.
