Hello to all and thank you for all your posts.

Joining the thread since I ordered this morning a 2021 PR7. I will pick it up in a month!

I already have a 2019 690 Enduro R with a little more than 10 000 km on the clock and loved it (Rade Garage fairing, Seat concept and so on), but now I only like it when it works as it should. I am leaving for a trip in a few days, and while I just changed the slave clutch cylinder (damn it KTM…), the electronics (maps/TC…) are doing really weird stuff again (not the first time) and the kickstand sensor is annoying me (again…). All in all, this high performance bike that is a blast to ride end up pissing me off, so I'll sell it as soon as I come back, and ride the PR7.

    I hope I won't be disappointed!

Ok guys, here is one of theee best bike(ADV/dualsport) movies. This is how Mexico was when I was in HS '67-, today, not even close! Then I was a Baja guy.
Money refunded if not completely satisfied!

Totally agree.......Great movie - First saw it about 10 years ago at one of Austin Vince’s Adventure Travel Film Festivals and tried to get a copy for years....... finally tracked one down in the US a couple of years ago and now it’s on YT!

Adventure biking like it should be.....

Hey everyone finally got to try a pr7 in the flesh a 2018 model and whilst its a lovely bike for me the seat to peg distance is really short and cramped, my inseam is only 33" and i can just flat foot the bike, im guessing this is because the pegs are above the exhaust compared to other bikes, has anyone overcome this issue e.g. a high seat and lowering link or is this just not a bike for me?

    cheers

Fastway pegs to lower foot pegs about 20mm. I’m tall and it wasn’t bad before... but better with.

Would love to lower the pegs with fastway
But I can’t lower the shifter as well it hits the frame

Have a couple rides in with them now. No issues with my offroad boots with shifter or brake. Around town with shoes, not ideal but pushes me to always wear boots

It’s a little high for my taste without the lower pegs
Might see about Modifying the stock shifter lever

My UK dealer tells me they have received the parts and are starting to assemble the 2021 models this month ...... no delivery date confirmed yet though, so I guess we are looking at Jan 2021 :(, although we can hope it might be in Santa's sack :-)

    Changes apparently are:

    • Upgraded front forks
    • An Athena ECU and fuel injection system
    • New graphics
    • Euro 5 compliant
    • New bigger 8 inch Samsung tablet with a faster processor
    • Plus other small adjustments. (Not sure what that means exactly?)

I had the opportunity to try the 2021 prototype at the factory.

I can say that the bike is a great improvement compared to the 2020 I have!

The new ECU gives to the bike a much more response of the engine. More smoother and better acceleration.

The front fork is now fully adjustable like the rear shock.

The 8" tablet is more powerful and comes with a new waterproof case.

It will be possible to order lower footpeg.

Without any doubt the best PR7.

Does anyone know what Athena ECU(model number, model, etc.) they are using for the new 7?
