For Sale Redvertz Atacama. $450. Used 2 seasons. I like it a lot but want to get the Solo since I travel alone and don't need the large sleeping area. It is clean, no damage and has the footprint for sleeping area. This can be set up and taken down in the rain and the inside stays dry. In Homer.
Might need to talk to you. How small does it pack down? Weight?

It's in its own bag 24" long, 11" dia and weighs 14#. The poles are in the bag. I roll them in the tent and they are well protected.

I've decided to list my sweet Airhead. It's listed in the Flea market. Very nice adventure bike. It's been my faithful companion for the last 14 yrs. With our young family, just don't have the time to spend with her anymore. Had a sweet time riding with her at D2D this year!!
Recent mechanical work completed; gearbox rebuilt with Circlip, Driveshaft, front brakes, and top-end. 98,900 miles.
Hard to put a price on this classic; asking $6495.00. or let's talk about your reasonable offer? Located in Eagle River. PM for any questions. Thanks!
Yamaha XT225 –$2100 *Sold*
Sold to a Daniel C. of Eagle River. Anybody know him? About 35 y.o.?
Posting this for a friend. I have the twin to this bike & it’s one of the keepers.
The last Yamaha XT225 I saw for sale in Alaska was a rough 2006 model in Sitka. They were asking $2000 & it had no title.
2005 Yamaha XT225 with only 1145 miles. Basically like new. 2 owners, both female. Always stored inside. License tags good thru August. These Yamaha XT225s very, very rarely come up for sale here, apparently people just want to keep them.
Only 179 miles since last service consisting of cleaning & lubing air filter, oil change using motorcycle specific Mobil 1 full synthetic oil & cleaning the reusable oil filter. Very easy to maintain. Low 31″ seat height & light weight makes it a great little bike for beginners or experienced riders looking for light trail bike. Sturdy, reliable bike that will cruise at 60-65 mph on the highway. Gas mileage is nearly 70 MPG & some have reported up to 80+ mpg.
These bikes are or were also known as the Yamaha Serow.
Lots of info on the XT225 here:
Dust from just sitting in the garage. Never even been off the road.
For Sale: Happy Trails Teton Panniers. $450.
Happy Trails SU Side Rack for Yamaha WR250R. $150.
PM, or text 907-240-nine eight seven three.
Are the panniers 7.5" or 9"?
Size XL Olympia Moto sports leather jacket, asking $140. Great fitting, in great shape, but I found the cortech jacket that matches my Decker leather overpants and I don't need two jackets that are so similar.
Back and elbows are upgraded to D3O armor, shoulders are CE Knox I think.
I want to go to Alaska this year and will be able to leave early August. In May I had reservation on Alaska marine highway from Bellingham WA to Homer but cancelled because I was still working and decided to wait until retired which I am now. As anyone who has checked knows taking a motorcycle/scooter on the ferry is very expensive. I like my scooter (2012 SYM HD200) and a few weeks ago did a 1700 mile tour to Glacier NP but I am willing to part with it. It runs great, otherwise I wouldn't consider doing this ride.
So I thought I would drive up to Bellingham with the scooter in my truck. Leave the truck at long term parking at the ferry and ride up to Alaska, sell my scooter in Anchorage then take the ferry back to Bellngham. The ferry ride is on my to do list for the trip rather than taking a flight home.
If I make it and the scooter is in similar shape as it is now $800/obo? Currently has 4000 miles.
Picture at start of Glacier trip, I don't plan on bringing the top box.
I have no idea about scooter values here but I hope it works out for you to make the trip
One more post - if there's no interest here on these things I'll put them on FB/CL/whatever, rather they went to someone slightly more trustworthy
Metal locking box for KLR(?)
, Aerostich panniers w/drink setup
, generic top case wired for power
. Can meet downtown Anchorage or at Palmer airport.
How much for the Aerostich's?
Huh - I didn't put that in there, did I... How about $50 each...
