I have figured the trailer will hold a maximum of 11 standard bikes.

As of today 7 spots are filled for the way to Alaska and 5 are filled returning.

There are several other "strong possibles" both ways that have not put down deposits, so don't wait too long!

We now officially have 7 spaces filled each way. My last post was 1 high, I forgot one of the bikes is a one-way.

Update: I am leaving Sunday June 24th to round up all the Southeast bikes. So far this includes stops in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Florida. I will then be returning to Michigan for only a few days before leaving for Alaska.

The current route is as such. I will be leaving the Detroit area most likely before the 4th of July. At that point my first stop is in St. Ignace, Michigan. From there we cross the upper peninsula and head to a stop in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. From there we head to North Dakota.

After North Dakota we swing south to Denver, Colorado and then over to Reno, Nevada. From Reno we work our way over to Tacoma, Washington which will be our last stop until we head north to Anchorage.

This plan is fairly firm. If you are in the Southeast and want in, I need to know no later than Saturday, June 23rd.

If you want in any other portion of the trip I need to know by July 1st at the latest! The time to book is now!

The return trip is slightly different, so I'll post that up soon as well. This should be a great trip, don't miss out!

I am currently near the Wyoming/Utah border. Only two bikes left to pick up and I'll be heading into Canada. I can't wait to get back onto two wheels myself!

My cousin is a border patrol officer, I've warned him about you! :D

Oh, and my bike sometimes leaks gas then the electrical kinda shorts a bit when it hits bumps.......

Hope the family is having fun seeing the U.S.!

Wish you had a SPOT tracker or something, that would be cool.

Don't worry about your bike. As parts break on the truck I've been retrofitting your KLR parts to it to save some dough :D

As for tracker, go to bottom of page:

I may do a 2013 run, but there will be some logistical changes. Pricing will probably be higher as well. I only offered "cut-rate" pricing on this trip to fill up the trailer so I could take the family.

We had a great time in Alaska, and I'm sure I'll enjoy my return trip in a few weeks. There was definately no profit in this trip, but the way I looked at it was that I was getting a discount Alaska family vacation out of it, which was awesome. All told, this trip ate up/is eating up over 3 months of my time, which is tough on business. I've had to turn down alot of work, and alot of my regular customers.

Thus if I do this trip again next year it will be a bit structured differently.

If you did it next year, would you be interested in 1 way delivery? Got a buddy who was interested in the ride with me, and I know he's not too hot on the whole round trip, so this would be a great way to ease that idea and get us some more riding time in the great white north.

I'm up for pretty much anything. All my business is "customized" to the customer's needs, so please stay in touch.

And Scooter, thank you for the compliment. I assume you are the Scooter from Great Lakes?
