Tomorrow's the big day. Here's wishing you a great trip!
+1 on that.
I'm leaving Friday - hope to see you on the road
The bike looks soooo pretty and shiny in those photos. You realize, don't you, that it will never look the same after this trip? There will be mosquito carcasses lodged in places you can't reach to clean, mud from construction zones in every crack and crevice, maybe some feathers from a suicidal spruce grouse or fur from one of our overabundance of snowshoe hares...
It's not too late to reconsider. Maybe instead, just a slow ride through the Ozarks , a few days in Branson...
I thought not.
Ride safe! We'll be waiting for a ride report.
Well folks in just a few short hours my butt will begin to have sheep hide under it for few days in a row.
Picked up some decent mesh armour riding pants with cold weather and rain liners this morning. (100 bucks)
I need to leave Lonoke soon....staying around here is costing me and arm and a leg buying more gear. I might be in need of a trailer....lol...NOT
Alcan Rider I read your Cack report and enjoyed it a lot! Went back and read some of the Vernnnn.....Cack report. Loved the line of 'spraying another can of don't HIT me' flourecsent yellow on the windshield.
I already have a hankerin for a different bike any how....lol.
You folks have ruined me .
Hang out here for sure...I only found this site about a year ago and didn't really post anything until this trip plan.
Never been to Branson or Silver Dollar City or to a casino or to the horse races in Hot Springs or to Fayethville ..... To far away....lol.
Just a wakeup left to go.
Be careful, ride safe, take lots of photos, and have the time of your life!
It has been a fantastic ride so far. Started Wed morning and met several great folks. Stayed Wednesday night with a guy and his son that has a huge collection of vintage motorcycles. I rode a BMW R50 that made a run to Sturgis in 1968. Awesome folks. I have lots of pics and some stories in just three days on the road. I got into Great Falls about 4pm this afternoon and have been visiting my sis and family. Will be back on the road Sunday morning. I made a side trip over ALT 14 from Sheridan, Wy. to Yellowstone park. Fantastic!
I have to get my brain to catch up with my eyes.
Awesome, Awesome, Awesome.
(oh, and a couple of pictures would be nice..... )
Don't tell us when you cut your load you left out the camera! :eek1
I will post more pictures when I do my ride report........
Banif has a fantastic camping area TWO JACKS ...... I appologize for spelling and lack of input on pics... I am very tired . I will post a good report when I get back.
