OK, so it's off-topic, but I need some input from you guys up here.

I traded a guy a bike for a .454 Casull a while back. I've decided the damned thing's just too big, and I'll stick with Buffalo Bores in my .44, so I'm gonna sell it to a friend. Just to keep my conscience clear, I'd like to run the serial # and make sure that it's clean.

Anyone know how to do that? :dunno

Do I have to do a yellow sheet and register it?

I'd swear that there used to be a number you could call and ask, but looking up NICS shows that you've got to be an FFL to talk to them...

Can a dealer just run it through for $20?

And if it's not clear? Sell it to an Adv'r?

I'm takin a number, MAN! Waiting for a good old tarnished gun....Esp a Casull!

Don't have any idea how to track it though.

Call APD and tell them you found it and tell them to run the serial#, just don't do it from a phone they can trace.

I guess you have to consider the source when you look for advice...

Ive also got one Id part with for the right price. Picked it up about a year and a half ago. Has a Gaclo leather holster with some 454 and 45 long ammo to go with it. Maybe 50 rounds run through it.
