It only took about 2 1/2 years of cogitating and trialing, but I've finally finished work on a brief highlight reel from a ride around the Yukon and Alaska. I'd appreciate any comments - critical or otherwise. Best viewed with sound.

For those of you looking for locations:

0:00 - 1:00 - Watson Lake and AK Hwy west of there. (Yukon)

1:00 - 2:45 - Klondike Hwy (Whitehorse to Dawson City, Yukon)

    2:45 - 6:42 - Dempster Hwy (Yukon)

6:42 - 7:45 - Top of the World Hwy (Yukon to AK)

    7:45 - 8:30 - Kenai Peninsula, AK

8:30 - 10:18 - Denali and AK Hwy (Fairbanks AK to Haines Junction YT)

    10:18 - 13:12 - South Canol Road (Yukon)

Really beautiful video. Nice combination of video footage and music. One thing you might try, since there is no narration, is adding some simple text for location when you cut to a new area. I recognized most of the areas, but not all.

Video: Fantastic!, well done and thank you!
Audio: would prefer what it actually sounded like rather than a music sound track, but that's just me.

Thanks for the comments @doom and @longslowdistance .

Yeah, the choices behind this were complex. I previously posted a 50-minute video of this trip, broken up into four separate videos. For that one I used location titles and also had more natural sound, including segments of on-camera talking. I had previously posted one more like this from a much shorter trip in the northern Rockies this past May.

For this one I decided to focus on atmosphere and scenery, rather than story. That choice made it a lot easier to cut down the length to something that's more watchable (I hope). Along with that, the videos segments are more intercut w/r/t timeline and location, making location labelling more sketchy. I kept some natural sound, but cut it from lots of scenes based on feedback from a non-riding former teevee producer.

Nice video. Brought back a lot of memories of my 2015 solo ride. Dawson, top of the world ride. a burger at Chicken...just awesome. Still remember riding up to that border station, literally the middle of nowhere, (nobody gets there by accident) and the young agent lady asking "where ya heading". I replied "Hell I dunno, told the wife I was shooting to Walmart real quick but that was a week ago in Idaho." Guy behind her is rolling and said "No worries buddy, she's already in Tahiti by now"! Great trip and would love to be able to do it again.

Really enjoyed your video, I like the musical background with little natural noise having ridden those roads a few times over the years. For someone who has not been there before I can see the desire for knowing the locations.
I have always traveled that country in the spring but your fall photos are really spectacular with the colors and light snow in the high country. What time of year did you go?

I enjoyed the video, liked the drone shots and the music. I recognized lots of the sights but captions for the down south viewers would have been nice. Looked like early fall... the last week of August :D

    Thanks, @Rustypig @snobear and @Bigbob1

And great guess, Bigbob1 - it was the end of Aug and early Sept. I'm a sucker for the change of seasons up there - and bonus points for the lack of bugs.

Also, editing the OP to include general locations and time codes.
